McDonald's — Restaurant in Algood

I usually do not have any bad experiences at McDonald’s, but this location seems to lack organization and efficiency. Considering they’ve had their dining room closed due to COVID-19, they should have all of their focus on the customers who come through the drive-thru. June 29, 2020, I visited this location in Algood, Tennessee to grab some lunch for my family and I. I ordered my food, paid and was on my way after being handed my food. Good thing I didn’t get too far, because I was missing a whole happy meal (I was handed the chocolate milk and the cheeseburger that was supposed to be in the happy meal was in a regular bag along with 2 other sandwiches (keep in mind I ordered 5 sandwiches, not including the cheeseburger I ordered with the happy meal). I go inside and realize I’m also missing 3 other sandwiches in my bag, the managers even checked for themselves. They offered me a treat for the inconvenience and I was given an iced coffee. The managers there that day were very helpful and apologetic, so thank you. Later that night, I decided to stop and get something for my boyfriend on my way home and while I’m half way home I realized I was not given my small chocolate milkshake. I decided to let it go because it was late and I really was not in the mood to show my face there again that same day complaining about missing items with my order. Today, July, 3, 2020, my boyfriend and I decided we were going to pick up breakfast on our way out for a trip. We ordered 2 number 1’s and after we were handed our food at the second window, we realized we were missing an egg McMuffin and a hash brown. We told the blonde young lady at the window what we were missing in our bag and she told us “you will have to circle the building and order again” (keep in mind it’s 10:29 & breakfast ends at 10:30). I told her we weren’t going to circle the building because it was a mistake they made when we had ordered 2 number 1’s. I told her to forget about the hash brown that comes with the meal and that I would really just like the egg McMuffin. Then a young gentleman came to the window and said the same thing as she did and I told him this is the 3rd time they have messed up my order in the past week and I wasn’t pulling around to order again when there was a long line. He insisted I pull up and they will get my sandwich to me as they had to keep the drive-thru moving. After waiting 5 minutes, I was rudely handed my egg McMuffin by the same blonde who handed us our order in the first place. I went to the McDonald's in Algood, TN. I ordered a Double Quarter Pd Hamburger onion only. No cheese, no mustard, no ketchup. I told the cashier I am allergic to cheese. When I drove home I opened it and if possible it had double cheese. I called the store and I assume the.manager answered. I told him my order was wrong. He just sat on the phone and said nothing. I said well I guess it's my problem now right? Then he finally said well you can come back anytime and we will give you another. There was a problem with that because he had no intention of taking down my information. So I went back. The young cashier was embarrassed and didn't want to wait on me. I tried to be nice but I still waited 15 minutes when I went back. The manager never came back to apologize. He sounded young and inexperienced. Then the food I got was a Hot Mess. How can you mess up a plain burger with only onion? This made the third time I had been in and they didn't get it right with long wait time. I moved here from Memphis recently and Algood doesn't have many places to eat. I don't think I will go back. I think I will just take a longer drive and go somewhere else. I wanted to add that I did take this up with the manager of the location before posting a review. I think you should always do this. After speaking with him and not being able to get anything resolved I really felt like there was nothing else that I could do at that point. I had even taken pictures of the inside of the restaurant as well as the food that I had been served given in order to try to send it to the corporate offices. I wanted someone to try and improve the quality of the food and service that was being provided by this particular location. Not every McDonald's has the same problems that this location did. I really just wanted to be clear that there are other locations that do have quality food and good service. So please don't stop going to McDonald's just because this location failed to meet the standards that you like to expect from...

little did I know , we were going to get our four McChickens cold , crunchy and stail , We just simply came back through asking if we could get fresh cooked McChickens well we were asked to pull up for them to make them and the cook came out side and was telling us he knew our McChickens were cooked , We told him they were not at all fresh , and that we wanted to speak to his manager and he yelled they want to talk to you ! Well Isabella the manager came out and was such a sweet heart and was so kind she just refunded the money to us, what he didn't realize we were just simply trying to eat a fast meal before we came back home to our sick babies . As we had Ben door dashing most of the day , to make money just like he was trying to do !! Also me and my husband every Thursday night we would come get the exact order from you guys when we had to travel to Kentucky to get my new borns feet casted weekly and luckily Ronald McDonald would be nice enough to allow us to come in late after my husband got off work to house us , Something Soo little to you like the McChickens were such a big deal because it was a fast and easy meal before we headed up to the Ronald McDonald house . Please before you come out again trying to fight with us customers on the stail food you served us it could've caused us not being able to get our room at the Ronald McDonald house for our son's appointment on Friday ! Please do it right the first time and if not just fix your mistake and keep trucking ! No one has time to fight over four...
