Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Algood

Though the food was ok the experience itself was awful. I pull in the line at the drive thru, sit there for about 15 mins and see the lobby lights go out which I think to myself their lobby is closed because of the virus and with them turning out the lobby lights i look and see that its 8:00pm oh well drive thru is still open. So now about 15 mins have passed since the lights go off, and I notice a employee talking to the car behind me(which had only pulled in about 3 mins earlier) then she approached my car and begins to tell me that they are not going to serve me (which by now I've been sitting in line for 30mins) so after I explain that I was there before 8 she reluctantly decided they would take my order. A few mins later she comes back out telling everyone that ran out of chicken and was fixing more so it would take an extra few mins. Ok thats fine I say, but when I finally get to the speaker to place my order it turns out they didn't fix any chicken, it was like telling me I could take what they had left over they didn't care about their customers anyway. Why do you all charge a quarter for one sauce? I’ve got to where I eat zaxbys a lot I go to Cookeville but today I was in the Algood area so I stopped here and all I asked for was one Zaxby sauce with my meal I did not have any money I paid with a credit card I had to dig up 25 pennies because the lady said I had to pay a quarter for one sauce. It’s not like I got extra I didn’t get any. She wasn’t friendly either. I waited 10 minutes there was a couple other people in there, but they were already eating. I didn’t understand what was taking so long. I was on my lunch break so I finally asked. She said they had to make fries, but it was a long time standing there but that’s ok she should have said sorry about your wait or you can have a sauce for your wait! Horrible service! It was an older lady working the front. I go to Cookeville a couple times a week they don’t charge a quarter. And they are friendly and usually packed with half the wait time! My sister and I decided to stop on as it had been a long time since we had eaten there. We ordered the Zensation salad and she ordered the Cobb salad. Since the Philly Chicken Sandwich was new we decided to order and share it.

The line of customers was relatively short and our food was prepared promptly. My salad, the Zensation, wasn't very good. The fried chicken that was cut up on the salad was dry and tough and was less than the size of one chicken finger. My sister enjoyed her salad. I took the Philly Sandwich back to the counter as it was so salty it was as if someone opened a full salt shaker and poured the entire shaker on that sandwich. It actually burnt my tongue it was so salty. The manager just happened to be there and I explained the situation to her and she had the sandwich remade without the garlic salt but with butter instead.

The staff was great. The restaurant was clean. I probably won't go again but if I do, I will stay away from the fried chicken and go for the grilled and will definitely skip the...
