Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Aliso Viejo

I have been coming here for many years. Today I just happened to notice that I was charged an extra dollar and change because I asked to have my hot fudge on the side. **Hey Baskin Robbins ever think that if I don't eat it there it will melt my ice cream?! My wife worked for Baskin Robbins many years ago and they never charged for this. I called a different location and was told they don't charge unless you ask for extra. I only asked for what would have been on the sundae. Then they just snuck it in without telling me. Very dishonest and underhanded. It is my understanding that it was a requirement to alert customers.

Well LA Paz location you just lost a long term customer to the one on El Toro. Even if they are out of my way I won't give you my money. AVOID this place or pay extra for what others don't charge. Btw why aren't...

My last visit I told the employee clearly that I wanted a Small Cappuccino Blast w/Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream. That product is specially priced during the month for $2.99. As he was making it, he asked me to repeat the size I wanted, I said small. He then began to make the drink. When finished, he says "that will be $6.29". To my amazement, he said I ordered a shake. I then informed him AGAIN that I wanted a Small Cappuccino Blast for the $2.99 price. He then stopped, realized his mistake, and made me my drink (Although without the whipped cream and cinnamon- he didn't even ask). Wish I could give 0 stars. It was so nice of them not to honor a Baskin-Robbins coupon 30 min before the closed. Even though my coupon wasn't expired. Which is always nice when you're disabled in a wheelchair. It's hard enough to find a ride down there. I was told the coupon can't be used on shakes or smoothies within 30 mins of the store closing. I guess the employee's are too lazy to clean the machines after they close. Complained to corporate and they said a manager would contact me. But they never did. What a surprise. Will be telling everybody I meet, Don't ever go to this location. It's a shame that this was my first time experience with this location. Will never go to this...
