M: yes, please change the pickup time to 6:20 PM (I didn’t arrive in Allen until then) R: your pickup will be ready at 5:44 PM. Is this ok? M: no. Change pickup time to 6:20PM R: your pickup order will be ready at 5:44PM, before you go, please rate your experience.
E=employee at Papa John’s. M: immediately calls back and it transfers me to a real person.
E: thank you for calling Papa John’s this is person how may I help you? M: yes, I just place an order for (my name) but the AI wouldn’t let me change the pickup time to 6:20, can you do that? E: let me check. places on hold to check E: I’m sorry, they just put your pizzas in the oven. They’ll be ready at about 5:45, I can’t change that, but is there anything else I can do for you?
It’s ridiculous that you can’t even order pizza with a real person or a working ISAI. Come on guys, now you waste a whole pizza (which I didn’t pay for because it would’ve been 40 minutes old) and a customer goes to a different restaurant. I bet that some people don’t go here for that reason. I won’t.

Read moreTheir website knocked off my Papa Rewards medium pizza with a 15 dollar purchase, the store refused to help the current situation and only lied to me at first, then when pressed they offered solutions for later. When you are feeding people now, credit for later means nothing. I have used their service for a long while, I know drivers by name. Don't know what kind of low tier management they have there now, but it just costed them a loyal customer. This staff needs better training, the first person on the phone straight up told me "sorry, nothing I can do." And only after I asked for the manager did I also get the same spiel, till I started explaining I order here very often. There is a sincere lack of empathy with people in the service industry now. Even if you give them constant reassurance and back them every other time they mess up, you can literally here the shrugs...

They got my order wrong and when I called back to talk about it to the manager Connor, he blamed it on me for the call center saying I can order something I can’t and that it’s my fault they don’t know the menu and that it’s my fault not his. Then got disrespectful and hung up in my face. Not to mention the pizza came doughy and sloppy. Thanks papa johns for the worst take out pizza experience I have ever had. Most disrespectful manager and company I have ever dealt with. Not to mention they are sending American jobs away for as they called it “Philipeans call center” glad they care more about money than customer service and product quality! Won’t be coming back. He said they would refund it on the 3rd phone call before he hung up...
