Shiawase Japanese Cuisine & Sushi — Restaurant in Allen

excellent food, but the service of the waitresses, and even more so on weekdays, is terrible, my husband invited me to eat sushi, we arrived around 10pm, they close on Saturdays at 11pm, the sushi is relatively fast, the chef is quick to prepare it, But since the girls came in, they were looking at each other, because they didn't want to serve us, and well, since they served us, even though there were only my husband and I at the table, there was no one else to serve us, and they served us but only my husband. and I ordered our sushi, they approached the table repeatedly, I felt my moment where I should be tasting my food well, someone came to hurry up because they wanted to leave, and it wasn't closing time yet, it was already approaching 3 waitresses at the same time to ask us if we were okay, we were just about to put the first bite of sushi in our mouths, and then they came out laughing, I thought it was rude of them, then a few seconds later one of the waitresses came up to tell me husband and my husband was barely eating his 3rd sushi, and he had about 4 left to finish and the girl already told him that she wanted a container so that she could put them to take away, and what my husband wanted was to finish eating the last ones sushi, I had to almost choke on mine because they wanted to leave, we arrived at 10pm and left there around 10:37pm I feel like it was fast as I should have eaten to be able to get out of there because those girls were on us to make us leave Soon, they should improve that, because then they will lose customers, if their staff treats...

Please take your money elsewhere .

I wanted to try this place as i seen on tictok. Food looked really good .

Everything started off fine , i ordered the roll from the happy hour menu. It came with eggs on top , the waiter ( really nice) told me it was no problem to have them removed. My order comes out topped with eggs . I pointed out that the roll had eggs as we previously spoke about . He took the roll back to the person preparing it . The roll comes back with eggs clearly still there. Instead of making another roll it appears the preparer tried removing them by hand . He failed .

I pointed out again the rolls visibly still had eggs ... he takes it back .

The saucer still on my table appeared to have a bug crawling on it . At that point i was over it and wanted to pay for the items i had . The server that prepared the sushi became visibly angry, and walked to the dining area with his hands up and pacing back and forth .

Again, i was the only customer there ! You are mad about me telling you that you made an order wrong not once but twice ! I guess. I was supposed to be fine with whatever and eat and pay . I asked for a manager the manager never came .

I paid for the items i had and left .

Do not go to this place ! Especially with poor...

Been a long while since I initially reviewed Shiawase and have been eating here since it opened. We still LOVE this place and it is one of our regular go-to restaurants that we eat at regularly for not only dine-in, but also take out. The staff works meticulously to make sure you get everything you order and always takes extra care in packing up the food. I see some reviews for DD or UE complaining about the quality and I think you have to take that with a grain of salt given that a 3rd party takes control of the order in between. When I order take-out, I do it directly from the restaurant's site and pick up the food myself and it always makes it back in perfect condition. They also do a fantastic job communicating via text as well. When I can pry my wife out of the house and we dine in, the staff is always attentive and the food is always great. I'd rattle off everything we have had from here that we like, but it'd be like 70%-80% of the menu. To me though, my favorites are always the Titanic Roll, the Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna, and the Ahi Tower. Even with the growth in Allen and the surrounding area, this will still be a place we know we will get...
