Please save yourself a trip to this particular location!!! There was a party of 7 of us. We ordered appetizers. Our server seemed alright. When one lady at the table was told by the server that the entrée she wanted to order was not the best, she couldn't find anything else on the menu due to dietary restrictions and said that she would just eat the bread. Our server said" I will not bring anymore bread." The server also told her that she was loosing money and seemed mad at her. Then we had another join us and I was going to share my plate with her because she arrived late and doesn't eat much. We asked for a plate to share. Again, the server was visibly angry at her. I asked the late guest what she would like to drink because the server never asked! Several people at our table got a little anxious because of the visible anger and disgust from our server. We came for a co-workers birthday party. The server was ruining our experience. I went to the manager and she said she would talk to her. The manager never came to the table to apologize for the rude and totally unacceptable servers comments and actions. The true story is, I have had this server before and she would not even look at me and clearly didn't want to wait on me on that visit. When I saw it was her seating us this time I decided to give her another chance. It is ashamed that a business keeps people of this caliber. We will never go back to this particular CPK because I'm sure she will still be there. When you pay $20 an entrée you would expect that at the least your server would not purposely be rude, but this is an acceptable and tolerated practice at this location. We did nothing to warrant this behavior. We are still talking about it in unbelief. Also we ALL tipped her well. I usually only leave good reviews because I believe we all deserve a break. Times are hard. We all work hard for our money. Customer service is a dying art. Do yourself and your hard earned money a favor and go someplace where at least as a human being you will be respected and appreciated. The verbal abuse here is part of the atmosphere....
Read moreThis location is absolutely horrible!! The service is terrible, and the management is ineffective. We arrived at 7:20pm on a Sunday night. We were seated at 7:40. It was not busy by any means. Maybe half of the tables occupied. No one came to our table for 30 minutes! Finally we waved down a gentleman who was so nice. He took our drink and appetizer order. We could see him tell our waitress. She argued with him visibly and continued to ignore us. About 15 min later I got her attention while another table was complaining about her to the manager. She acted oblivious. She did take our order and brought over the appetizer and drinks. 45 min after sitting down!!! It would be another 30 min before the food came. She did not refill a water or do anything! She waited on her other tables! She refilled their drinks and attended their tables. We got nothing. Our food finally came after 9pm. It was ok. I had to ask another server for silverware. I did get the attention of the manager and explained how horrible this experience was. He could see that no one had anything to drink with their meal. He just made excuses about how understaffed they were. But other tables were getting good service! He promised to look at our bill and give us vouchers to come back. He took 20 off our bill. It was less than 20% off. We did not get any of the vouchers that were promised. Our bill was still 100 for 5 people. We asked for the table to be transferred to the waiter who helped us far more than our waitress so he would get the tip. I was a waitress for 10+ years and know the business. I tip very well and never complain. But this was horrible! This was the worst service I have ever gotten! When he transferred our table to the waiter that did try to help us you could see the waitress throwing a whole fit with her disrespectful attitude! My teenager was appalled by the scene! Read moreThis was our first and only time dining at this restaurant and we have no desire to return. A few things we experienced tonight were.. Our server, Carl, had his pants far below his waist, and his underwear was visible. We felt it was not professional in food service.
He seemed very irritated by us , and made us feel as if he didn't want to serve us... we just wanted a nice dinner and he made us feel like we were a burden to him.
the work environment was very unprofessional. There were workers with no hair nets on (hence the hair in my food), and there were workers who were just slouching around and not showing good hospitality or any sense of urgency in serving their guest.
Examples: When one of the people accompaning us asked Carl politely about where her drink was, just checking in, he snapped at us in a sarcastic way and started going on and on about " of course it will be right out mam , of course". Then he continued to tell us to be "patient" because they had messed up our order stating that most of the staff was new. We were not offered any compensation or even an apology for the extra time we had to wait for our food. The food was good but the accuracy of the order was off of what we intentionally asked for in the first place , service was poor. As we were discussing how to tip him privately, he was standing behind a half-wall that separated the booth from the kitchen, catching us off guard, and asked us "Is there a problem?" Not, to bring in the fact that he reached for our dirty plates, across the counter separating us from the manger stand and the booth, reaching over us, to where we had to move the plates toward him.
