JCPenney — Local services in Alpharetta

This JC Penny store has gone downhill, incredibly sad that the management has allowed this to happen. At this point you need to hire a new management team to go in and salvage it. There is nothing positive to say about this location.

Understaffed -no one to help you anywhere in sight.

Air conditioning is broken/ very hot and feels like there’s no circulation in the store. You literally sweat the entire time you’re there trying to shop. Not just me but the other customers and employees saying the same thing, it has been going on at least for the past year and a half.

Elevator and bathroom is in complete need of an update, dirty and old. Feels like 35 years have gone by and not one update to this store.

All fitting rooms are shut down permanently except for one on opposite side of store. An entire hour before the store before closing time, the lady that runs the fitting room starts shouting and telling you she’s closing the fitting room and that you only have 10 minutes, she literally harasses everyone. This has been going on for the last 2 years. It’s rude, unprofessional, unnecessary. Not welcoming at all!

Fitting rooms are dirty, grim on doors that a simple wipe down with windex could help keep clean, dust everywhere. Looks like 30 years of cleaning.

The selection of merchandise is not very good. Entire departments are empty of merchandise. I went upstairs to the home department looking for placemats and the one person I found to ask did not know what placemats are.

Store gives the sensation that it is near death, about to closedown any moment,besides the fact that it’s in an already dead mall.

There are other locations around the country and even in this state like Mall of Georgia, Memorial Mall in Houston that are in way better conditions and it’s a pleasure to shop at. There’s no reason why JC Penny should be treating the location at North Point Mall, Alpharetta, GA this way. Your customers deserve better. And if you are seeing a decline in sales and in traffic in your store it’s because, “YOU THE COMPANY AND THE MANAGEMENT, HAVE NEGLECTED THIS STORE ENTIRELY”.

You seriously deserve a ZERO, but I had to put one star in order to write my honest review on here.

Why have a store open if you’re going to allow such ATROCIOUS service?? Unless you are simply treating this location as an online return DUMP OFF LOCATION.

11.. NOTHING MAKES SENSE IN THIS LOCATION OF JC PENNY. “IT IS A MAJOR DISSERVICE TO THE CUSTOMERS AND YOUR OWN REPUTATION AS A STORE AND COMPANY.

North Point Mall needs to hurry up and shutdown and allow the bulldozers to start tearing down everything. This would allow the city of Alpharetta to get going with a new plan for that entire outdated, DEAD mall that is of no use to the community.

Everything that is attached to that mall is dead!!

If you don’t make changes you’ll lose what little is left of your customers, and I mean LITTLE, I hardly see anyone in your store. It’s all a JOKE at this point that you run this location the way you do. And I have the feeling I am NOT THE ONLY DISSATISFIED DISAPPOINTED customer. There’s NO WAY that YOU, JC PENNY ARE NOT AWARE OF ALL OF THIS!!!

For JCPenney in Alpharetta

I had the most wonderful shopping experience with JCPenney store in Alpharetta, all because of Ms. Hermi’s most outstanding service and her manager ‘s excellent support!

Month ago I bought a yellow gold man ring with diamond as a gift through Ms Hermi from JCPenney store in Alpharetta. Her high professional quality impressed me. However, the ring was not a real yellow gold, instead a gold over staring sever, that I did not identify it at the time.

On Sept. 6, 2024, I drove back to JCPenney at Alpharetta for exchange. It was so lucky that I met Miss Hermi again. I explained my purpose to her, and she warmly calmed me down. She expressed that she fully understand my situation that it was shameful to give such a ring as a gift. She immediately talked to her manager about my appeal. They were so sweet to inform me that I could return the old ring to get store credit, then can buy a real new white gold man ring with diamonds.

The whole exchange processing finished quickly! Their warm beautiful smile deeply touched me!

That was the most excellent service I have ever received. I highly admire JCPenney store! Thank you so much to Ms Hermi for her angel like services! Thanks to her manager for her excellence as a great...

To whom it may concern: I am very disappointed with the Penney's store in Alpharetta, GA, North Point Mall location. My daughter and I drove from Danville, Virginia and my mother flew from Dallas, Texas to spend Thanksgiving with my aunt and uncle in Alpharetta, GA. My aunt spoke very highly of her local Penney's store until today. The North Point Mall location decided that they would only open one door for those seeking Black Friday Coupons and keep all other doors closed until coupons ran out. My family and I were not interested in the coupons and the line was far too long for my elderly, mobility challenged mother and aunt. The line was wrapped around the building and into a neighboring parking lot. We were finally able to get the attention of a store employee at 2:20pm (20 minutes after the store officially opened). The employee told us that they weren't going to open the other door for any reason until all coupons were gone. We explained that we had 2 mobility challenged seniors that could not remain standing and needed wheelchairs, but the employee shut the door saying we would just have to wait. Her treatment and the policy of the North Point Mall store has changed our families opinion of Penney's. You have lost 3 generations...
