Lolli & Pops — Restaurant in Alpharetta

Do not recommend, good candy, bad service. Short of it, a cashier pressured me to add a special deal to the order to "save money" and when I said no they added it anyway without my consent, it didn't save me money and cost me MORE than my previous order.

The long of it, I used to go here frequently with my mom when we would go to the mall, and all was fine and good, a little pricy but they had stuff I couldn't get elsewhere. The most recent visit I went with a pal who flew in from Texas, and went without my mom (both of us are older teens who can care for ourselves). When we went to check out, the guy checking us out was okay but a woman approached and told us about their jar deal, where if we bought a jar to put the candy we bought in, we'd get the candy 20% off if we went again and used the same jars. I said that sounded good but we were in a rush and I don't go there often so it was a no. Then they ADDED two jars to my checkout, replacing two bags of candy we bought, saying it would save us money after I already said I wasn't interested. It added an extra six bucks to our already pricy order, and they were rushing through the checkout before I could ask them to remove it. Overall the service felt pushy and exploitative, I doubt I'll go back unless there's something REALLY specific I want.

P.S., are these jar deals REALLY saving any money? These jars are HEAVY and seem like even if you filled it and got 20% off on your candy, the discount would be less than 20% if not ADDING to the price due to the jar's heft. Seems scammish. Won't becoming back often...

My family went down this afternoon on a trip to the mall as part of my daughters birthday. We were in the store for maybe five to ten minutes when we were approached by mall security and an employee claiming that the employee had witnessed my daughter stealing merchandise on the stores cameras. Upon confirming the product they had thought was stolen, we could prove that the product was not only purchased with a receipt but it was also purchased from another store. The security guard asked why she was wasting securities time. This was when the store employee blamed one of the other employees before leaving and moving away. The security guard was very polite. I have visited Lolli and Pops at other locations and loved the pleasant employees and delicious candy. However, at this location the only employee in the store was on facetime and didn't even acknowledge us. We had to get her attention for help and she stopped in the middle of getting our candy to go back and smile at the man on her phone! I did purchase the candy as not to disappoint my daughter. It was not good. It was dry and old. I asked who the manager was of that location and she just put her hands on her hips, smiled and said "ME". I said "well that explains why you are facetiming instead of helping customers". She just laughed. Will not go back to...
