I usually have a good experience here but today the service seems off. The person taking my order must be new and he did not get my order right and I had to keep correcting what I asked for. Not sure if he understood English enough to understand my order so even after all the corrections, my order was still incorrect. We asked for large fries and got charged for a large soda. I went back to the register to correct my order and another lady helped me. You could say she "corrected" my order but not in the correct way. Since I paid $2.69 for my large soda and my large fries were $5.79, I needed to pay $4 more. That's fine but I paid by card so I was going to pay the difference with the same card... But she says "oh, you don't have cash?!" And I replied, "no, I paid by card because I didn't want to pay cash" and just stood there not wanting to take my card. So I was basically without choice to pay $4 in cash and I told her it's not $4 difference so why should I overpay and with cash? She redid the math and said it was $3. So I paid her $3 cash and she just took the cash. No apologies and no fixing of my ticket at the register or anything. She probably just pocketed the cash. That's just ridiculous and there was more than one thing that was wrong with this whole experience. The original guy at the register needed more training and no one was there to coach him so he'll continue getting orders wrong, the other lady didn't even help him and yet seems to be pocketing benefits from his mishaps. The staffing needs to be reviewed because a business run like this won't be profitable for long. I have enjoyed coming here but this time it wasn't good.
Edit: Upon taking our food home, we ate it and I felt the need to edit this post. The burgers weren't that good and neither were the fries. The "large" fries weren't even the typical huge serving we used to get, in fact it was barely, if even, the size of a regular order. The fries were bland and flavorless (totally not worth $5.79) and so we're our burger patties. This is definitely not what we're used to at this location. I paid almost $30 for a burger meal for two and I wish I could have gotten my money back. I could have had a nice sit down gourmet burger across the street for the same price and left satisfied. In fact, McDonald's burgers have recently been tasting more flavorful and I am sad to say McDonald's burgers taste better than what I had today. Not sure if I want to spend another $30 here for this type of experience...
Read moreThe guys were working hard, efficiently and clearly knew what they were doing (at pretty much everything). The space was as clean and put together as I remember from previous visits here and other locations. But…
I admit it’s been a long time since I’ve been to a Five Guys. A) To put it as I heard a guy behind me say “Seriously though, $30 for a hamburger????”
I have to assume he got a bacon cheeseburger, large fries, and a shake — since my hot dog, medium fries, and shake, were almost $22 🫣😲 but so okay… that’s the deal at Five Guys. I had forgotten that.
But B) That was one of the worst shakes I’ve ever had. I’ve had shakes from FG before. I’m clear that the idea behind FG is an extremely limited menu so that what’s done at FG is done excellently. So if I’m going to splurge the $ and calories for a big treat that’s TWENTY-TWO DOLLARS for ONE PERSON, that shake better be ON POINT.
It was thin and syrupy and frothy and the taste was super weak. I showed the manager and he offered to make me another one — I was hours beyond needing to eat, and stupidly agreed to that. My next one, strawberry rather than Oreo in case that made a difference, was only a bit better because real strawberries. But other than that it was exactly like the other, just a more flavorful.
I had told the manager the first one wasn’t made right, not just that I didn’t like it. I should have told him about the second. I didn’t — because as a very Karen looking white woman, even I didn’t want to hear myself asking to speak to the manager. Again.
Here’s the thing…. I’ve worked serving before. I’ve made shakes before. I knew full well, while making them, if they weren’t coming out well. And I’d shut it down and report it if that were the case. I’d refund the customer, and black it out on the menu till the machine was fixed. You can see it, you can feel it, you can feel it in the way it moves and the weight of it.
I didn’t finish the second shake, maybe half, and about a quarter of the first one. But I left there feeling sick and dealing with that all night. I’m not blaming that on FG specifically— but if I was already sick and didn’t know it… that shake certainly set it off. 🤢

Read moreNever place a delivery Order!! If I can, I put zero stars. I placed my order in the Five Guys website for this location as a delivery order. The delivery was planned to be done by Uber food (driver Daisha D.). The delivery was planned to be completed at 2:03 PM, but I received a message and email saying that the delivery of my order was cancelled, that I need to contact the Five Guys store. I contacted the store and they told me to call Uber for a refund as the order was completed and the driver picked it up. I called Uber and they said that I need to contact Five Guys for a refund as they don't have the billing information for my order. This is not the first time that an issue happens with my order from Five Guys/Uber Food: missing items of my order, really late delivery, and now, not delivery at all. I like the food but I hate the service. This is the last time I order here! I wrote a complaint in the Five Guys website, hope I can obtain the refund...
