Visited before they were officially open so they did not have any wine/alcohol... And I still give it 5 stars. Excellent, excellent food! Didn't even miss the booz. Went with two friends and order a number of things to share. I would suggest this method instead of ordering one dish pp. The menu is not online (last I looked) so I'm guessing at the names of the dishes we ordered... First the Mushroom Risotto was my absolute favorite! It is served with a side of kimchi. I don't think it went well together but I just ate it as a side dish :) Next favorite, was the Kimchi Pancake, very flavorful and perfect texture/crispness. Yum! There was also a Ramen Salad that was very tasty - the dressing was lite and it was the perfect cold companion to the hot (temperature) dishes we ordered. We also ordered the Wing Pops and Asian Spiced Ribs (dont quote me on either of the dish names). I didnt try the ribs b/c, full. But my two friends raved about them. The Wing Pops were delicious. Everything was great, especially the service. Our server, I believe her name was Melissa, made fantastic suggestions, was extremely attentive and had a nice, calming energy about herself. If I owned a restaurant I would be happy to have her represent my establishment. Plus she had a dope tattoo that I especially appreciated as an Atlanta native. TDLR: The service and food, especially the Risotto and the Kimchi Pancake, were slammin. I would definitely go back.

After many others had suggested this spot to us, we finally gave it a shot one night when my parents (now grandparents to our 1yr old) came into town and we were fully impressed! Our server, Jeremiah, was already providing world-class accommodation despite his young age and has a clear future in hospitality with a charismatic friendliness and unwavering confidence, even when confronted with our 1yr old little rascal. The Smoked Toro was absolutely stunning (get it early and SAVE THE SMOKED SOY SAUCE), if unarguably a bit expensive for so small a plate. It was still delightful and impressive enough to order again! The bang bang shrimp were a winner starter, and the Channel Replica was easily our favorite sushi roll with lots of wonderful textures and layers of flavor that were even more pronounced with some leftover smoked soy sauce from the Smoked Toro. Doesn't hurt that it's a beauty to behold! Desert was also impressive: a thick, crispy Korean pancake (with what we think were bits of apple) - wonderfully chewy, adorned with cinnamon, ice cream, and a strawberry 🥞🍓🤌 Make no mistake - Monkey 68 exceeded our expectations in every way.

I'm a huge fan of Chirori so I was excited to try Chef Jackie's new restaurant, Monkey 68 Kitchen & Bar in Alpharetta. Apparently, there's a Monkey 68 in Roswell as well so don't make the same mistake I did & go to the right location lmao. I visited last night, which happened to be Alpharetta Restaurant Week & tried their tasting menu. OMG, everything was soooo goood & I left feeling full & satisfied. My fav new drink is the Matcha Highball, Japanese Whiskey & Matcha is a match made in heaven!! The Iheartdogs cocktail is very refreshing as well!! Do yourself a favor & come check it out (: you def won't be disappointed! Thank you Chef Jackie, Misty & Daniel for your hospitality & impeccable service. I've always had a great experience with Chef Jackie & his team. Food, service & ambiance always on point! Can't wait to come back to try their other menus as well! ^^

Monkey 68 is a hidden gem that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the stunning beauty and ambiance of the restaurant. The decor is modern and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable dining experience.

The service was exceptional. As soon as we entered, we were greeted warmly by several smiling faces, which immediately made us feel welcome. Throughout the evening, the staff continued to impress with their attentiveness and friendliness.

My family and I indulged in over 7 sushi rolls, and I can confidently say it was the best sushi I have ever had. Each roll was expertly crafted with fresh ingredients, bursting with flavor and creativity. We also tried their drinks, which were equally impressive. I personally ordered two drinks that were delicious, and my family, who are wine experts, couldn't stop raving about their selection.

What stood out the most was the incredible care we received from the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. If you're looking for a sushi restaurant that combines modern aesthetics with outstanding food and service, Monkey 68 is the place to go.

I'm genuinely surprised this place isn't packed every day—they deserve more than just 5 stars! Don't hesitate to give Monkey 68 a try; you...

First time coming. The food was great overall! The spicy tuna crispy rice wasn’t good, but the sushi rolls were delicious. Our server was the sweetest, but the manager was unbelievably rude. I wouldn’t leave a bad review just because our server was so kind, but that manager… wow. I’m allergic to avocado, so we specifically asked for it to be removed. They brought the sushi with avocado anyway, which is understandable, mistakes happen. We expected them to simply fix it, and we’d wait, chatting. But then the manager brought the new sushi and, instead of just handing it to us, she said, “Let me explain: if the menu says it comes with avocado and you’re allergic, you have to tell the server to remove it, not do it like this.” We were stunned like, excuse me?? That’s exactly what we did! If I could put into words the condescending tone she used, I would. Then, because we left 4 out of 6 pieces of the spicy tuna, our server kindly offered to take it off the bill. A few minutes later, he returned apologetically, saying, “Sorry, my manager said I can’t.” We just told him it was fine, poor guy, having to deal with her all day. Other than that, the food was good, let us know when the manager is not there and we will...
