I rarely leave reviews, but this experience left me deeply unsettled.
I arrived at the store at 7:58 p.m., just two minutes before closing. I was already in line when the employee informed me that the gentleman in front of me would be the last customer, and that I would not be served. I was calm and respectful, and I pointed out that I had arrived before closing time. Still, I was dismissed and denied service.
I understand that employees are tired at the end of the day. I work in the service industry myself. I know how exhausting it can be. But kindness doesn’t take much time, and a small act of courtesy could’ve made all the difference in that moment.
I left feeling humiliated and genuinely hurt. I was just looking for a quick bit of comfort at the end of a long day, and instead, I was met with coldness for simply arriving before closing and standing in line like everyone else.
So this isn’t just about policy. It’s about how we treat people when we’re tired, busy, or ready to go home. It’s about remembering that even small choices, like turning someone away with compassion instead of indifference, can ripple out in powerful ways.
If you’re reading this, I hope it’s a reminder: kindness costs nothing, but its absence can cost a lot more than we realize.
All credit for this experience goes to the manager, Lily—an unfortunate example of how not to...
Read moreI am so disgusted in this location, Auntie Anne's is normally my favorite place ever when I go to any mall, for many years, but this experience was absolutely horrible, the blonde lady manager was so unprofessional and rude to me and a gentleman in front of me. I asked for a refund one hour after my visit, I bought pepperoni minis and a Almond pretzel,, went to Macy's to shop, started eating the pretzels about 20 minutes after purchase, which I do often and never an issue, but my husband and I were like these are so hard, and the Almond one actually tasted burnt, so I was like no, my husband said just take it back so I said ok, I went and explained everything, where she responded that it had been an hour since I was there and I explained I did not wait an hour to eat, but that I had a arm full of clothes at Macy's so I waited until I was done shopping to go back, and she still refused to refund me, she was very sarcastic and rude, and walked away!!! And didn't even offer to give me a fresh order of pretzels....I really hope someone higher up sees this because I'm so turned off by this place now, which has always been my...
Read moreI left my phone there on the counter and when I tried to see if it was returned the manager short blonde lady instantly stated rudely no one has found my phone and I explained if it’s on camera after police report I will press charges. My grandmothers pictures are in there that past away Last week so yes I will continue to call daily to see if it was turned in because not once was she kind enough to ask for my name and number or even my condolences instead she threatened to call the cops on me for harrasment and said her name has no concern in any of this ... how insensitive and unprofessional of a manager. I was never rude but only concerned for my phone ... I will never ever purchase from there again. How is it harrasment if I’m a customer checking on a very expensive iPhone X with sentimental pictures. She’s horrible of a manager and can’t believe how insensitive she is.. She needs to be let go. Not a good way to represent Auntie Ann’s nor Cinnabon. Imagine how she treats...
