we went through the drive threw , there was a car in front of us at the window, as we waited all of a sudden seemingly out of nowhere was a large woman in my car window saying . that'll be 18.75. She scared the hell out of me. My sister was digging in her purse getting the money while the employee waited outside my car window and I saw that she had come out of the side door of the building. She was kind of pacing while waiting and finally my sister got out a $20 and I handed it to the employee, she took it , stepped back, and went "ugh" kind of loudly. I guess she had not liked waiting for us to get the money out , we did not like having someone jump out a side door at us demanding money, it was very strange and it frightened me when it happened. We did not the attitude either, so when we got to the window a different employee handed me the drinks , but my sister was saying she would not eat the food after the strange ordeal , and what we saw of the kitchen through the door was not pretty either. I said really I would just like the money back. She told me wait a minute, and she went and came back with the woman that had jumped out the door at us, she asked what she could do for us and I told her that I just wanted my money back. She asked if I would tell her why and I said "no". I thought if this was the one in charge it was a waist of time and breath to even try and explain it. I did not eat the food here, I would not eat the food here, and if I were the owner I would wonder why they are collecting money from...

I don’t normally write Google Reviews, but I feel the need to voice my love for this place!!! Backyard Burger is by far my favorite burger spot and I love that every burger is hand-cooked at the time you order, and it never disappoints. The pricing is better than you would find anywhere else, and I really love the fact that the pricing changes based on what you add/take off.

What PROMPTED me to write this specific review was the service my partner and I experience with Vance! He took our order outside which was a little different than we normally experience, and he was so helpful and personable! He was enthusiastic, extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and more than willing to help us out with any questions or concerns we had! He made sure our order was correct, was very thorough and attentive, and brought a fantastic attitude to our experience. Again, I never write reviews- but we felt obligated to make sure he received his proper flowers for the exceptional and special service he provided. SHOUTOUT VANCE!!!

Oh and the only other comment I would have is we wished the calorie and nutritional facts were available for the food! My partner and I were on diets (even on a cheat day) and would’ve loved to have at least an estimate of the food! Vance did try his best to help us out with that, but it would be just perfect if that was available. My only critique!
