We ordered masitas de puerco and vaca frita, the masitas were like 90% grease and not edible. We had two plates of masitas and told the workers how bad they were, they said they would bring out more in better condition. They ended up bringing out about 7 pieces for both plates and of those 7 pieces 5 were also all grease and not edible. At this point we knew the only option was a refund which we did get.The vaca frita was a bit better but still not good. What I would say is you have to have some pride in your restaurant,if a meat is all grease and not edible then dont sell it,The owner and management could've stopped them from going out,the cook could've said something and not cooked them.I also realized when they dropped them off at the table the girl basically said here you go and left quickly, she knew they weren't good!!She got out of there before I could say something. So did they sell these because they were crossing their fingers someone ordered them and not complain, seems like the chance for the opposite to happen is pretty high, someone complain, get a refund and post a bad review online, seems like all this could've been avoided if someone just stepped up and chose not to sell them,do the right thing next time, theres only so many retakes for many restaurants until nobody wants to eat there and you unfortunately have to close. Also why does south Florida and Tampa have places where this wouldnt cut it,Orlando just has too many mediocre to bad places,I...
Read moreThis location has gone down hill especially with the food quality and the customer service and service in general. This morning I decided to give them another try after the failure of last time. I did not write a review because I do not want to bring anyone's business down but after this morning I just decided enough is enough for us locals. Last time I ordered an oatmeal and iced coffee the oatmeal was old, watery and tasteless. I mean how can you mess up oatmeal and you are a food chain? Let's talk about the iced coffee more than half of it was iced and same thing barely can taste any flavor very disappointing. This morning I was rushed to get to work and decided I will just order something else and pick up well to my surprise(sarcasm) the website was not working. So I decided to call the restaurant(good luck finding a live person) first time I called someone picked up I said hello and they hung up on me. The second time I called no answer and it said they are "helping other amigos" the third time I called it kept ringing very unserviceable. This was at 7:30 this morning so no rush, I passed by the plaza as I do everyday on my way to work parking lot was not full so what is the issue? I went and gave my money to the mom/pop cuban restaurant down the block instead and next time I will go to the Zaza's on Curry Ford who are completely a 10/10 this...
Read moreMy husband and I have been enjoying Zaza's since they first came into the scene. Their food was amazing. After new management took over, there were some quality issues but overall their food is good and we continue to visit. The biggest problem we have with the Zazas in Altamonte is that they're always out of oatmeal before 11am and for some reason they never make more to account for the customers that love and enjoy their oatmeal. We come in to be told oatmeal stops at 11am and we have to come in before 11. We come in before 11am only to find out they are already out sometimes by 10:15am and that we should order them before 10am! This is so inconvenient. They make it around 9:30am to be out by 10:15am? I don't know if the reason they don't cook more oatmeal once it's gone before 11am to save on the cost of wasting unused oatmeal but if that's the case they are doing it at the cost of customer satisfaction. I think any business that is advertising a product being available until a specific time should deliver the expectation they have set. If you run out or are running low before 11am, make more, and continue to sell it until it's gone after 11am if there's such a high demand for it. That keeps customers happy, and coming back for more. We usually have to call the location in Lake Mary because usually they...
