We followed up with Doug who said he’d refund the entire check. We were happy to see how they were going to resolve and planned to continue to visit. A few hrs later He then called us to advise that he would speak with the server before issuing anything. The server then called my husbands personal number to harass him & tell him how he’s lying and the manager won’t believe him. After she forged HIS signature. Due to her harassment we decided to have the police mediate. The resolution the manager came up with was to refund the $20 in the form of a bill to my husband (without speaking to us or apologizing) and requesting we never visit again . When i went in asked if it’s proper protocol to have employees harass customers he was dismissive and asked that i leave. Poor customer service & forged signatures by our server Nicole smh.
II’ve dined in and ordered takeout often but very dissatisfied with my last visit. Our server took our order brought out two different plates than what we initially ordered. We didn’t complain about the 1st wrong plate as it was late & not a major inconvenience. But the other plate they put sausage in my shrimp when i didn’t request that. I don’t eat meat, and i don’t want the taste of sausage in my sauce. When i brought it up she initially didn’t take ownership for it and stated” consider it an upgrade” I don’t eat meat. I then requested what what i ordered. She corrected it but I got it to go because of the long wait. I didn’t get to eat my meal with my family. The icing on the cake is the receipt we signed showed $53 even.i have my receipt in hand writing this 10/12/2020 dine in #73. Later on my bank account showed a charge of $73 even. We left a cash tip(in spite of the screw up & failed attempt to cover it). I plan on disputing this. This restaurant has some work to do if it wants to...
Read moreI have frequented this establishment on several occasions and have generally had positive experiences—customer service has often been stellar. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was deeply disappointing and, quite frankly, disturbing.
I visited with my mother and two small children. The experience began poorly when I received a drink that contained visible particles. I returned it, and while that issue was addressed, my meal then arrived with a hair in the food. I brought this to the attention of our server, declined a replacement when asked, and expected the item to be removed from the bill.
A few minutes later, a new plate was brought out unexpectedly. I assumed this was a courtesy for the inconvenience. However, at checkout, I was surprised to find that I was charged for the full meal, including the one I had returned. I explained the situation and requested to pay only for the other meals and drinks.
At that point, a manager approached in a loud, dismissive, and confrontational manner. Despite my calm explanation of the events, he only agreed to adjust the bill after further discussion.
What happened next was truly shocking. As we were leaving, a female manager began to follow us, shouting aggressively and threatening to call the police. Her behavior escalated to the point where my mother felt the need to physically step between her and our family to protect us. One of the employees had to intervene and asked the manager to stop.
This experience was deeply traumatic for both myself and my children. What should have been a routine family meal turned into a distressing ordeal. While I understand that mistakes happen, the response from management was unacceptable. I hope the ownership takes this feedback seriously and addresses the need for professional and respectful conflict resolution...
Read moreI have been looking forward to a seafood restaurant opening in my area. I have been watching and waiting for CC to open, as I am from Maryland and saw Blue Crabs on the menu. I took my Mom for lunch today, after she had a good appointment at her Dr.'s office. We were sorely disappointed in the crabs (there was brown/grey fluid oozing from them and they were mealy) The service was not good. The waitress told us the crabs were from Maryland or Louisiana. The girl shadowy here, actual asked and found out they were from Maine and/or New Hampshire. The couple next to us told the manager that the water was not filtered and tasted bad. We sent ours back. The manager was aware of our disappointment, but was busy interviewing someone and would not come to our table. My Mother had to leave quickly, due to medical issues so I took my check up the the owner at the front counter. She was very unprofessional and just said, whats with the food and the water is fine. I would never have suspected she was an owner. If you love good seafood like my family and friends do, DO NOT waste your money at this chain restaurant. The Crafty part, I understand, because they managed to serve bad food and get paid for it. No sorry, no come back when we've got the kinks worked, nothing!!!! Then the waitress yelled GOD bless you as I left. I believe they are in need...
