Be careful what you buy from this store. I'd recommend making the staff test the game and show you it works before you purchase. They clearly do not test games themselves before putting them out for sale. I was visiting Orlando from out of state and bought a GBA game from here. I got home a few days later and popped it in my SP only to find it can't read the game cartridge. And I'm not going to be anywhere even remotely near this game store any time in the foreseeable future so I can't just return it. I thought maybe the cartridge contacts were just dirty, so I go to pop open the cart and clean them. Only problem is, they put their awful store sticker directly over the screw hole for the cart. It's the kind of sticker that leaves a silver backing on the cart if you try to remove it and is impossible to completely take off without considerable effort (and plety of Goo Gone). Removing the sticker voids the shop's warranty on the game, but it's not like I'm able to take it back at this point anyway, so what do I have to lose? Opening the cart reveals that the contacts are severely damaged, so it's no wonder my system wouldn't read the game. No amount of cleaning is going to restore missing sections of contact. I'm very disappointed in the quality control at this store. Be wary when shopping here, or find a more reputable place...
Read moreLove the team at Cyberetron! I always feel like I am with my people (fellow gamers) when I get there. They have a huge selection of current and retro video games and consoles! I just recently got a Dream cast from their Winte Park Location, and a PS2 network adapter at their Altamonte location. And I got lucky with the Network adapter as it already had the Sata SSD converter built into the PS2 network adapter, and that’s what I love about these store, it's easy to go in and physically look and inspect what you are buying, verses all the guess work that is done online, with hope that you don't get ripped off. And they offer a 30-day warranty on their sales, and I've used that a few times and never got hassled for anything. I even took the adapter back to a different location for testing and they had no issues popping out another PS2 to verify what the issues was. So, I appreciate you guys! Keep up the great customer service and retro gaming standards that we have come to...
Read moreupdate as of Feb 2025 they now ask if you want the warranty sticker on the disc. Big W for this one boys, 5 stars ! Will continue to shop here and will actually stop in more often!
Nice shop, clean and not stinky. Great selection of 360 games however they put these pointless stickers on the game discs that completely throw the look of the discs off. If you try to peel them off they reveal another layer and when you peel that off it can leave smudge marks. This gotta be one of the most egregious, weird marketing tactics ive seen when it comes to reselling games. I will probably go back but I wont be buying discs. They did have a cool section of collectibles and such. The staff was very friendly aswell ! But yall please stop putting these dumb...
