I am writing dismayed with our dining this evening at the Altamonte Springs location in FL. We used the dine ahead service available online and put in the confirmation at 6:45 pm. When we arrived at the site, we checked in at 7pm. The hostess indicated it would be about 20 minutes which seemed doable as she was telling others coming in around us that it would be 35-40 minutes as they had not put in on the online site.
Not until 7:37pm, 37 minutes later, did we finally get approached about being seated. The hostess - Laura Lee or Lorilee - just stood there dumbfounded when I inquired into the issue. The entire seating area, including people who had come in at the same time as us had been seated. The manager named Alejandra was at the hostess station so I continued my query with her as to why the online tool was not taken into account and she tried brushing it off as a non-issue.
I am thankful for a great waitress but at no point in the evening did the manager take time to follow up with us regarding the rest of our time at Carrabba's. It's amazing how little care and consideration someone named as manager could put in to make sure customers are provided good service.

Read moreCame in with family tonight and we were a party of 8. We waited a long time to be seated (understandably on a Saturday night with a party) and were offered free deserts for the wait. However everything after the fact was awful besides for the server herself. All of our dinners came out cold. They reheated it and truthfully it was still cold and just overall not good. We mentioned several times we weren’t satisfied and the server did what she had the power to do about the situation, but the manager was nowhere in sight and never even touched our table after all the issues we had. We’re not the type to want to make a big deal about these things but paying $250 for food we didn’t even eat because it was so bad is unacceptable. Management clearly does not care about their guests. I’m a server and never have I had this kind of issue without a manager at the very least speaking to the table and truthfully our whole check should have been discounted. Again, not the servers fault she doesn’t have the power to do these things. This all falls on management. I just feel awful that our guests from out of town wanted to treat everyone to a dinner and had to pay for such a horrible experience. Read moreI love this place because their food is delicious and consistent! During this last visit with my family, I noticed they had a new menu item that intrigued me. While I have literally only ordered a chicken Bryan every time I go, I was curious about the chicken piccata. The server encourage me to go with what I like and on a whim I tried the chicken piccata. I was underwhelmed by the dish, confirmed by my family who tasted it to. I was really surprised because they always do such a great job especially with chicken. I think on this evening their usual chef was not there and this dish really missed the mark. The reason I am still giving a five star review is that as soon as I let the server know I was not impressed with the chicken piccata, she immediately offered to replace it with the chicken Bryan or anything else that I wanted. I had zero expectations that she would do that and when I provided the feedback it was mainly because she was so curious about how I liked it compared to my usual favorite.
