Worst experience I have ever had at a Marriot hotel, first check in at 4pm and the front door is locked cause of the bad area, then they charge my card 280$ for pet fee when he is a service animal. Manager took off in the morning and today they don’t take the card I gave them and only cash . Umm yesterday they didn’t take cash and took my cash app card. That was a lie right off rip when I first walked into the place, followed by nothing but lies till a very end but anyway, all got cleared up this afternoon and checked back in with them knowing about my animal. So 130am I get a knock on the door by two cops telling me to leave or I get trespassing. They wouldn’t even give my money back. They said just get out or you will Be trespassing and you won’t get your money back. This franchise in altamonte is a scam and they do not care about you. Go across the street to town place suites. And now they are telling me I was smoking in my room and can’t get my $250 back!!??? IDONTEVENSMOKE!!! and my work clothes I had set out they won’t give back to me. They wouldn’t let me come back at 9 AM to even see the manager when the guy told me to try calling the cops on me again this morning so yeah, I suggest nobody go to that hotel unless you want to be looked down on and judged immediately by what you look like, nobody should ever have to be treated that way. As of Monday, June 17, 2024. The Marriott did get back with me and they were very professional. I am very satisfied with the way they handled it and it was completely completely unnecessary the way they’re employee that worked at Knight, which is name is Jeff handled that situation to bring in law enforcement And also I want to think Altamonte Springs police department for getting back with me as well so everything got cleared up but again I probably will never stay there at that location, but I do recommend Marriott because they are very nice and I have never had a problem with them until I stayed at that location. I’ve seen several reviews with that guys name in it and I hope Marriott does the right thing with that employee. He is not a very good in a hospitality work environment. If you read this review. i’m sorry that the punctuation and spelling was not right. I have just been very busy with work and haven’t had time to spellcheck or edit this. I hope everybody has a great day and please be nice to one another. We are all in this together. Things can be solved if you just talk and you have respect it will...
Read morePlease avoid this place, there’s plenty of other hotels nearby. My experience here was beyond concerning and almost a month after, Marriott still has not contacted me to resolve the issue. Upon checking in, my room had been given to someone else, ok not the worst. Too bad they then gave me keys that led to an occupied room that had children inside. I walked in on strangers and their kids! A huge safety concern that they would do that not only for them in the room but for me. They finally get me a room after having me check another room that had a door ajar so I didn’t even go into. The room they gave was a room meant for someone that is handicapped. This wasn’t necessarily an issue, minus not knowing if we would be kicked out should someone else need this type of room. The room itself wasn’t nice and pretty worn. The worst part of all of this came when I filled out a survey about my stay and got an email from the management here adamant they had “taken ownership” and spoken to me already about this and that it was human error. No one ever called me to speak about this issue. They swear they have call logs but won’t show them. They have been discussing my Private information with someone else. This is the part that to this day I am continuing to fight as I want to know what they have been disclosing to a stranger about my account with my Credit card attached. They say there was another guest named Vanessa at the hotel. Apparently, they don’t know how to handle guests with the same first name and that’s why they gave my room away. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere! Beyond unprofessional and safety/privacy...
Read moreTo be honest I’m not a review person, but this time is necessary… I have year working on customer service. Firstly we are a company how’s have business in Orlando and must of us stay in this hotel. Me in especially every week, apparently when I did my reservation though Marriott app put two room instead one, I just received only one email about only one room but it’s ok things happen, I just realized about the situation as soon I arrived to the hotel. The Gendelman in the from desk which must of the time es the same was very nice and explained me that I have two reservations, I told him that it was only me and surely was a mistake, I asked him if he can do a refund or if I can use that night this coming week because like I said before I go to there every week, he said that unfortunately he can’t help me but that next day in the morning come back to the front desk and talk with a manager and explain him what happened in order to don’t lost the night. Guest what? Next day I went to the front desk ask for Cristina the general manager who’s very nice and the young guy said she is out of the time and she can’t help me, then I asked for Omar, he said he is busy and he can’t help you. I ask him if someone in the building can… I he just said it was a pre paid reservation nothing we can do. The morale is that ok I’m losing the night because I never asked for the money, I just want to use my night in the hotel where I normally Stay for business. But you guys are losing a client and nobody of my team will be stay in there. I’m very disappointed...
