I have been coming to this location for 5 years. This has been my local Chipotle since I moved to Florida. I have given them far too many chances, and tonight was nothing short of the ultimate disrespect.
The young girl making the bowls gave a half a scoop each of everything we asked for. She was condescending and pretentious. She corrected my partner disrespectfully and needlessly, all while rushing us out. When she asked for red beans she says "um do you mean pinto?" Well obviously, you only have two types of beans. Next, pulled pork was corrected to "did you mean Carnitas?" You offer only one type of pulled pork. That was totally uncalled for. All the while, we were being rushed. It seems that everyone on this shift (8:30PM on 11/15/2022) did not want to actually complete any work, therefore skimping portions in order to conserve the trays, as well as rushing guests out as fast as possible. I'm not certain why you would accept a job if you don't intend to fulfill the limited duties it entails.
My next issue is with the cashier that goes by the alias "shesperfect". What a contradictory name, as you were quite literally the opposite of perfect. The attitude on this girl made me think I was being punked. My partner asked for a lid, she said " here's some water cups. Yep, you're welcome." I didn't say a word. Excuse you. I didn't want the water cups nor did I ask for them, and I surely did not thank you for them. She seemed panicked in a way, and not all there. She later came over to us before we sat at our table with a lid. Well thanks, but it's a little late for that. I imagine a coworker pointed out her mistake to her.
Ultimately, this Chipotle is a disgrace to the brand. Customer service here is just about dead. Portions are an absolute joke compared to mosf other locations. Staff needs training in many areas. Personally as a supervisor, I would have reevaluated the relationship between these associates and the business as they are a severe detriment to returning business. I'm honestly so appalled I've considered contacting corporate, which I have never done at any establishment. Shame on you, Altamonte Chipotle. I cannot wait until the location in Longwood on 434 makes...
Read moreI love Chipotle, and was so disappointed in the service and quality of food I got at this particular location. When I entered the restaurant, the line was wrapped to the door, which is normal to see at any Chipotle during lunch or dinner hours. Due to my previous good experience at other locations, I knew that the line would move quickly and I would have my food in 10 minutes. Boy was I wrong. 35 minutes later, I got to the first guy who was doing the wraps, setting up the meal. From observing him while in line, he was joking around, and not being quick or efficient, thus creating a bottleneck. Next was the middle guy, who kept running off somewhere into the kitchen every minute or so, so the meals were stuck in the middle. from the time I got to the first guy, it took another 5 minutes to finish the burrito, and have it ready for check out. At this point, I as well as pretty much everyone in line in front and behind me were visible irritated and everyone was talking about what a circus this was. It honestly looked like some kind of night crew you would see at a McRestaurant. The counter was a mess with food scattered all over the place, and there was a clear lack or organization or management going on at this location. Once I finally got my food, 40 minutes after I got in line, I went to sit down at at table. I was not really surprised to find the sitting floor a mess with trash and food scattered everywhere, so noone appeared to be cleaning up. This was my worst Chipotle experience by far. I usually come to Chipotle because it's quick, you get great food, and it's a simple process. I was half expecting to get food poisoning after eating at this location after seeing the appearance of the counters/how the food was handled. Firtunately I didn't. I don't think I will be wasting my time or temping fate with food poisoning and eating at this location anymore. Management, please take notice, you will be losing customers just because you seem to have hired...
Read moreWe ordered our burrito bowls as we normally do. One for me, another that is a double meat to share it with my daughter as we don't eat a full bowl each. I always got the sauces and corn on the side as my daughter eats it plain. We were not informed that these "on the side" would now be considered a side order and charged an additional 1.50. The employee failed to inform us of the change until we reached the register. We asked if we should have been informed, and the cashier said "yes" but they couldn't do anything about it and couldn't make any changes as the lid was closed. Rather than being polite and finding a solution for the customer, we were basically given the option of paying for the burrito bowl with no sauce or purchase each of the sides for an addition $4.50. We asked for the manager and to our dismay the cashier was the manager. Meanwhile, the employee closest to the cashier was laughing at the whole ordeal and talking about the situation to the other girl on the line in front of everybody. The manager saw this and said nothing. I had to call the girl out and let her now how disrespectful and unprofessional she was being in front of everyone. She then had the audacity to deny the laughter rather than apologize. I informed her I am certain the cameras would pick up her face and the fact that she is talking about customers in front of customers. She finally apologized. I have been in customer service most of my life and am absolutely shocked to find this kind of treatment in such an established restaurant as Chipotle. We will not come back to this establishment and we will join the other reviewers on Google about the lackluster experience, poor treatment, extra hidden costs, at a place completely devoid of what customer service should look like. It took getting on the phone to call corporate and pointing out the laughter in front of the customers for an apology and foe the order to be corrected. This is...
