I LOVE WAWA. Especially this location!
Honestly, all locations are usually 5 stars. It CAN get a tad crowded though, and there is no drive thru (I don't think any WaWa locations have drive thru's yet, but I could be wrong!) If you get delivery thru a third party app, they are always really fast. Milkshakes, NOT to be confused with cream smoothies (big difference), are off the menu from 2AM til around 8AM? They say they have to clean the machine or something. Don't worry, though. During that time, you can still order cappuccinos, cream smoothies, fruit smoothies, and other blended beverages. I'm not sure if every location is like this. You should also do yourself a favor by downloading the WaWa rewards app. Don't forget to have them scan it on your phone every time you go to a WaWa. You'll earn awesome discounts, rewards, and free stuff... Fast! I like that the WaWa app has its own delivery, take out, and pick up options. But if you're paying on the app, you can't use an EBT card, whereas in the store, you can use EBT on almost anything! This Wawa is always clean, big parking lot, lots of places to sit and eat/charge/wait for your order outside. They also have a gas station. Definitely make sure to use Wawa rewards for gas, you'll get tons of points right off the bat. I recommend the Caramel Cookies n Cream Milkshake (to die for!), The Mango Cream Smoothie, and The Mango Strawberry Fruit Smoothie with Yogurt. All 3 are amazing. You can't beat WaWa's shakes...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews but I felt this review would be helpful in assisting in better training procedures for managers. On 9/3/22, my best friend and I stopped at this Wawa to buy 14 bags of ice for a party. We paid first at the self checkout, I bought 7 bags, my best friend bought 7 bags. When we parked our trucks we noticed big ice coolers on the right side of the building so upon paying we went out to get our ice but we were informed by a Wawa employee that the ice was inside near the atm so we went back inside and grabbed our ice. Upon exiting the store we were following by Nick (AGM) who proceeded to pull out his phone and record me in my truck, maybe get my license plate, whatever. So I parked my truck and I approached Nick asking him what his problem was. I showed him my receipt and even FaceTimed my friend who had just left so he could show his receipt for the 7 bags. I ask Nick why he had been recording me and his response was “I was just trying to scare you”. Why would a manager try to intimidate a paying customer? Why would he record a paying customer? Why wouldn’t he just check the self checkout payment log before accosting a paying customer?
I own a well known commercial plumbing, hvac and electrical company with a fleet of nearly 40 vans. I spend on average north of $100k/mo on fuel and I will ensure that Wawa no longer gets a dime of that. Call it petty, I call it...
Read moreEarly morning shift worker Xavier seems to not be interested in his job. Multiple times, when I go in to place a hot or cold beverage order, he's the one making the drinks. So this morning, 5/4 @ around 4:23 a.m., I placed an order for a smoothie, got me two waters, and then went to pay at the self checkout. Ok.... walked over to the beverage station. This Xavier boy hasn't started my order yet, so I'm just standing there patiently waiting while he's cleaning his station & blender stuff now its 4:27am when he decides he wants to put on his gloves in start my order which took only about 2 mins so now he's finished blending my smoothie poured it in the cup sat it down took his gloves off washed the blender & blender top (that could have been cleaned after I received my order) then place my lid on in sat it at the pickup spot. The moral of my story is that he isn't interested in making drinks. He takes his precious time as if he doesn't care about the next person time. Other than that, I like this wawa store, but because of the issues with him making drinks on his time, it is the reason...
