I found out today, that Powerhouse subs increased the prices of their subs. They are exceptionally good subs, so I bought (3)12" subs. It cost me $36.41. That's $12.14 for one sub. When I got to my house, near Bedford, and opened my sub for dinner, I was flabbergasted! There was barely any meat and cheese on my Italian sub. The meat and cheese that was on the sub was sliced extremely thin. The lettuce was very skimpy too. My sub was sooo thin, as were the other two subs that I bought for my family members. Deffinantly not worth $36.00. I will not be returning. I usually stopped there once a week. I'll buy my own rolls, meat, cheese and lettuce at Fishe's store, and make my own subs for a fraction of the cost. I will still buy the Powerhouse dressing though, as...
Read moreI don't write negative reviews very often, but our experience at Power House Subs was awful. When ordering, I was told they'd only give me a water glass if I paid for a fountain drink. That's ridiculous. I understand there is a cost involved in buying the cup, but charging the same as a fountain drink? Come on. Then we got our food; my sub had so much mayo it was dripping out of the bottom in huge globs. Gross! The final straw for me was the snarky review response I read when someone complained after a tasteless sub. Rather than taking it seriously, they responded something along the lines of "you must have covid." Wow, as a business owner, your customers are everything, and not taking their feedback seriously is the fast...
Read moreFriendly staff and excellent subs. The only thing that isn't excellent is the price of their take home dressing. Used to get a mason jar for $8 which I thought was a little pricy until they came out with the bottles. Now $7.95 for a 12oz bottle. I understand it's made in house and it's excellent tasting but 90% of it is vegetable oil. How do I know? Because I'm a gig worker and have delivered 30 jugs of vegetable oil there before. If the price was lower it would be the only dressing in my refrigerator. Drop it $2 and see how much more you sell. I know you'd still be making a decent profit. The left one in the picture cost me $3.85 I belive from aldis. While it's not as good, the price difference makes it...
