Came in Sunday October 16th between 5:30 and 6:30. Service was great and the burgers were great! The burgers were fresh and juicy with great flavor. And we got them in a very reasonable timely fashion. The staff was lovely. I cannot say enough good things about the workers. GT specifically was amazing. The customer service GT provided was immaculate, and they went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Great service from a kind soul! The man in the black shirt though, who I'm assuming was management, was awful. Loudly berating the employees and yelling in the store when it was busy. It was noticeably affecting not only the morale of the employees, but also the customers. As we could hear him yelling at everyone, it was immensely disrespectful to everyone there. Especially when everyone is doing their best. I've worked in customer service for years and have never seen someone be so disrespectful to staff, especially in front of customers and that loudly. Not only myself but other customers were making comments about how rude this man was. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from someone who is supposed to represent the best qualities of the establishment. You don't keep workers by treating them like dirt. They deserve better. Kudos to the employees for tolerating the disrespect and not just leaving. Besides that man I have absolutely no complaints. Everything and everyone else...
Read moreI work for Norfolk Southern in Shire Oaks Yard PA. So I live close to Pittsburgh and have been to a lot of Five Guys in the past. I can honestly say this is the worse I’ve ever had. I went about 3-4 months ago when I was staying in the hotel. The fries were so soft, mushy, and undercooked, it was like I was eating a boiled baked potato. I knew it wasn’t the food sweating in the bag, because when I popped a fry in my mouth when I got my food it was soft and soggy. Since I was in a rush to get on my train in the next hour I didn’t have time to dicker. I ate back in my hotel room (across the street) and I can’t honestly say I enjoyed the food at all. The only good part was the Orange Hi-C. The burger was very mid but the fries were honestly hard to eat and enjoy. I know five five guys is better than this. For $21.00 I was extremely disappointed and lowkey mad. I don’t know if I’ll ever go hear again, I’ll just have to settle for Olive Garden or Red Lobster across the street because I can’t keep doing this. This wasn’t the only time I’ve went to this location and the food was very subpar. If I knew what I knew I definitely would’ve went to a McDonald’s or Wendy’s and saved myself $15.00-16.00, and actually ENJOY what I was eating. Cmon five guys I don’t wanna be this guy but I gotta...
Read moreIt's just burgers and fries, but it is just burgers and fries. They focus on a small number of menu items done to perfection.
Portion sizes are enormous. Flavor is top notch, and yes if you're eating there daily you're probably shaving years off your life. It's a good trade though, the food is delicious now and those years you're losing? You'd have been old and eating oatmeal seasoned with prunes anyway.
Go there with a friend and each order a large fry. Make bets on who will finish first. Part way through, amend those bets to who makes it closest to finishing.
If you win? Maybe think about that bowl of prune flavored oatmeal. Colonitis isn't pleasant.
All you can drink soft drinks to go with that massive burger and nearly bottomless fries? Yes. My pancreas needed some exercise anyway.
Not enough protein? There's peanuts everywhere, see how many you can eat!
Seriously though, if you have a peanut allergy and you're not suicidal? Don't even walk in the door. ...
