I went here with my siblings on June 14th, and the food and service were phenomenal! I would normally put a 5 star rating for the atmosphere, but something unexpected happened. I will explain what happened after I talk about the good things about this visit. First, the shrimp linguini alfredo was very good! I would definitely get it again. Second, the Parrot Isle Coconut Shrimp dish was very good! The piña colada sauce pairs very well with the shrimp. The shrimp by itself is very good, but the sauce makes it a whole lot better! Third, I've had their lobster bisque many times, not just at this Red Lobster, but other Red Lobsters as well, and it's to die for!!! It's that good! Also, their Chesapeake Fries weren't that bad. They're just fries coated with Old Bay seasoning, but they were good. Last but not least, I had their Berry Sangria, and it's good! I will definitely come back here again! (Also, I know this probably doesn't happen often, but when my siblings and I were eating there, suddenly, the fire alarm went off. Luckily, it wasn't too serious. I believe the waitress that was serving us (Kristen B) said that one of the cooks was burning something, and the smoke triggered the fire alarm. It was a bit inconvenient. None of us, including the people that were in the restaurant, had to leave. The fire alarm was turned off shortly after, and everything was resolved. Normally, in this kind of situation, I would give the atmosphere rating a 4, but I will have to give it a 3 because I have epilepsy. I take medication for it, but even with all of that flashing caused by the fire alarm, I had a minor headache afterward. I had to take it easy for the rest of that evening. Hopefully, the next time I visit this Red Lobster, hopefully, one of the cooks doesn't decide to burn something and cause the fire alarm to go off. That's the only complaint I have. Other than that, I loved my visit here on June 14th and would come back here again!) (Also, I mentioned her name already, but Kristen B, she was really nice to us!)(She definitely deserves a raise!)(Also, we ordered the Lobster Flatbread. I was going to take a picture of it, but everyone started digging before I could take a picture of it, but it's okay. You can see part of it in the picture that has the Berry Sangria in it, so yeah.... 😅😅😅😅)(Also, the Lobster Flatbread was very good! I would highly recommend it if you like lobster and any kind of...

Ironically, Red Lobster is NOT the place you order lobster. I’ve known this for years, but still can’t help being enticed by the promise of “it’ll be different this time.”

I ordered the Harborside Lobster and Shrimp Feast (roasted rock lobster, garlic grilled shrimp, and shrimp scampi). The shrimp were good, but the lobster was inedible. I peeled the lobster completely back out of its shell and was horrified how BLACK the bottom of it was. It looked like an alien and had the texture of a rubber tire.

And no, I didn’t bother sending it back. Ever watch the movie “Waiting?” Yeah—you NEVER send your food back ANYWHERE you patronize unless they accidentally served you the wrong dish.

Anyhoo—

But that’s why they throw in a house salad and unlimited cheddar bay biscuits to keep you from coming completely unhinged when you finally get your main entree.

I don’t ever come here with my family expecting a “fine dining” experience. And neither should you if you’re contemplating doing so. It’s kind of an elevated mindless grazing experience when you just can’t fathom doing another fast food restaurant in the area and can’t conceivably fight the crowds to get in at...

Everything was terrible! Slow staff! It took us ten minutes to get a high chair, twenty minutes to get our drinks, our appetizer and soup came out two minutes before our meals, we had to ask for biscuits. Food was cold, old, and terrible, our meals came out cold and when I asked for them to be warmed it was as if I asked the world of the staff. My crab legs were old/cold and asparagus was absolutely disgusting, my husband's lobster tails were the size of his thumb (may I also explain this was during lobsterfest so I feel that at least my husband's two lobster tails should have taken more then four bites to eat). Then as we tried to express our discust in the food to the staff, they didn't understand what was wrong almost as if this is a regular thing... and let me just reiterate that there wasn't a wait for us to be seated so it's not as if it was a busy night. Also the restrooms were very dirty (toiet paper everywhere, urine on the seats, no paper towels, ect.)it was a very terrible experience and I will...
