Came in for a late breakfast at my sister-in-law's recommendation. Waited 3 minutes to even be acknowledged as waiting to be seated, with waitresses moving all around us and a manager on duty scrolling through his phone. Finally, we requested a table and were advised it would be a slight wait until someone cleared a table, which we did not mind because we did not want to sit in a booth. Once seated, we ordered coffees and water, and once those were brought it took a couple of minutes until we put our order in. Three of the four of us finished our coffee and watched as tables around us were refilled. Looking around, three waitresses were standing around chatting and laughing, our waitress seated in a booth "clearing" it. When we looked back, our waitress was in the kitchen on her cell phone and not one person walked toward our table. Out of six waitresses there, only one with dark hair and red ends was regularly checking her tables. I approached the manager on duty, who was engrossed in his cell phone up until the second I asked if he was the manager. Once I started we had been sitting for close to 10 minutes without being checked on by our waitress, he began to tell me she was checking on another order, despite me having plain view of her from where we were standing. I then stated the only I see checking on customers is the dark haired woman with red ends (pointed her out) and everyone else appeared to be standing around as other customers and our table looked around needing assistance, be that with coffee refills or to close out checks. Our food came, and it was delicious, which made for a sour experience due to the service. One star is for the food, the other for that one woman who was running around to check on all of her tables. This manager needs some lessons in managing a full restaurant and how to handle diners upset about being ignored. Ticket came to just under $55, and the tip of $2 was way more than deserved for how we were ignored. I will never revisit this establishment when in Amarillo - I'll go to Waffle House. Food is not as good, but...
Read moreI would like to tell everyone that the waitress named Katie at this location is a horrid waitress.... Very snobbish a very rude and just an all-out terror. Our normal waitress, Nicole, was busy that day and did not have a spot for us in her section. We went ahead and sat in Katies session not knowing what we were getting ourselves into. Took us 10 minutes to get our first drink order. Just simply water and coffee. And then our coffee cups stayed empty so we were nearly finished with our food. I actually got up and walked over to Katie while she was at the kiosk entering other people's food and asked for refills on coffee. She abruptly turned around and informed us she would get to us when she had time.
I will tell you this, I would rather be seated and served by the lady who cleans the toilets in that joint before I ever sit with Katie again. To me she comes across as a useless waste of human flesh and a waste of good air. I have a service animal that goes with me and normally stays just under the foot of the table. She made a point to stand as far away from the table as possible and sneer and look with disdain at my service animal. And make sure that she made a big deal about not delivering any thing to the table that would put her anywhere close. She had other waitresses bring things to the table, never checked to see if we need anything else, if the food was okay, or if we need refills. She even had another waitress drop the check at our table as well doing the best she could to avoid our whole area. One lady had to get up and pretty much scream at her to get her ticket for the meal. I hope someone does something about her soon. If I didn't like the food and the service I would never go back. Hopefully Katie's days are numbered as she is one of the worst waitresses to have ever waited on anyone in...

Looks like Google gives me a different badge if I have 50 reviews with over 200 words. So, I'll go on to say words and stuff, in hopes that it's enough to fill up the required space.
Prices were great - we had 4 at our table plus an extra meal to go and the total bill was just over 80 bucks. They got us seated quickly and the food came in good speed. Wound up with more food than I could eat which was great.
Sheesh, just barely at 100 words... what else to say? Plenty of parking. There was a sign near the front that said due to busy times during weekends you cannot be seated until your whole party is their to be seated. Maybe people were coming in and taking up big tables and then not needing all the seats. Hard to say, just a guess.
200 words is really hard to do, feels like a college paper you'd spend 2 months researching and revising. Why are they encouraging people to be so long winded when all you really need to hear is "good food, fair prices" or like I do with Taco Bell's: "this one didn't try to kill me". Eventually the day will come when I leave a one star review for a Taco Bell and no other words. That one you'll know is the TB that...
