La Bella Pizza Hillside — Restaurant in Amarillo

Pizza cold, service colder. After nearly 2 hours of waiting (original wait time was 65 min) and numerous unanswered calls (about 20) , I decided to drive to the store. Upon arrival about 5 other people were in lobby, when i asked if they were in line and had ordered, one guy said "thats the easy part". After waiting for a few minutes I was greeted and I explained we had ordered online, we had called, ect, and that we wanted a refund. The girl went around back to who I assume was the manager and told her I wanted a refund. To my shock I heard the manager say "whyd they drive here? we are obviously busy." And i replied by yelling around the corner "maam we called several times, dont be ridiculous" the girl came back and told me it was out for delivery and that I'm going to be getting my food. I said "I don't care , I want my money back" the girl goes back around the corner again and I hear the manger give more excuses and attitude. The girl comes back and says we will be refunded.

As for the food.

Mother in law ordered cauliflower crust, got no crust, just sauce and toppings in a tin. I got a calzone with a splash of sauce inside of it vs having a cup on the side to dip in (like how 99.9% of calzones come, as well as pictures on their site showing a side of sauce)

Also employees dont wear masks as well as watched them handle dough with no gloves.

Super dissatisfied and disappointed with the whole experience.

I stopped going to La Bellas, probably a year or two ago, because the food was just not good. I was either shorted or the quality was just bad, so I finally gave up going/ordering from here. Decided I would try them again, tonight, and low an behold, the gyro was skimpy as could be, the tzatziki was basically sour cream with some added veggies (I could do that at home), and then a quarter of what meat I did get was burnt to a black crisp... Yet they still thought it good enough to send out the door. I mean, it was bad enough the girl answered the phone with an attitude, like she didn't want to be there and then they took the option of paying cash off their online orders, so you can't get any the discounts either, but then to get bad food on top of it all. Yeah, no, I won't be back. Idk who the owners are, but clearly they don't care about their business or the customers they serve, because this has been going on for years. So, feel free to spend your money here, maybe you can catch them on good times if you're leaving more than one star. But I haven't had that luck and I won't be going back...

i’d been going to labella’s for years and i’ve always enjoyed the food; pizzas great, subs are great, and the calzones are good too! But my recent visit met me with disappointment and dissatisfaction, I had bought a Lasagna with meat sauce . When i recieved it, it looked delicious and smelled great too. But when i dug in i found out that the whole thing was mainly just sauce with barely any noodles, featuring a hard layer of baked and burned cheese of course . I tried my best to get the most out of my meal but was left with at least a cup full of sauce left. However after the all this disappointment I must say Labellas is still a great place and i’ll definitely be going back(only for pizza, subs, and salad). But i don’t recommend the lasagna, Unless you like a bowl full of sauce and bits of pasta i recommend this...
