Discovering 'The Donut Run' was like stumbling upon a hidden gem in the heart of beautiful American Fork, UT! Ramon, the master wizard running this operation, greeted me with a warm, sincere welcome behind a plethora of fun, mouthwatering pastries on display. As a Vegas native, I couldn't resist the temptation of their infamous apple fritter, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer! The vibes were so strong, with a steady streak of locals flocking in for their daily dose of sweet goodness. Ramon's personalized touch and knack for remembering everyone's favorites added a special charm to the experience. The fact that their cronuts are constantly sold out speaks volumes about the quality and taste that 'The Donut Run' offers. The ‘Lucky Dozen’ I brought back to Vegas disappeared faster than you can say 'cronut' – my family couldn't get enough! With their accolades in a statewide donut throwdown, it's clear that 'The Donut Run' is on the rise. Keep your eyes peeled for this little donut shop that's destined for greatness. Trust me, these donuts are worth the journey – so don't walk, run to 'The Donut Run' and indulge in a taste that’s like hitting the jack pot!

So happy to see this lovely donut establishment closer to home! We have been traveling to Spanish Fork for these awesome donuts for years now....but this new location is only less than ten minutes to get to from home! Met the owners Derrick and Brian, who are just really personable to interact with - super friendly and just nice guys. This new location is spacious in the lobby/waiting area and inviting. I love that they picked out such an ideal location for Utah County donut lovers! The donuts are delicious as always. Our go-to FAVS: glazed, maple bars, old-fashioned cake, chocolate iced. They also sell kolaches here too such as sausage & cheese, real cheese, sausage, cheese & jalapeno just to name a few. Been loyal fans for years!

Not bad! Not my go to donut place but still pretty good! My boys loved the shark donut. I love a good old fashioned donut which is usually a mix of buttermilk and regular donut. I asked and was told that was closer to the buttermilk bar. I didn’t finish it but ate most of it. My husband liked his Kolache, but still not WHOA factor. They offered to warm up the second Kolache I threw in at the end so I’m not sure if all of their Kolaches can be warmed up or just some, but it was a great touch. Mostly just classic donuts here! Glazed, vanilla, chocolate, a few fruit, and some cinnamon sugars. They have different kinds of all of these (topped with nuts, coconut, sprinkles, that sort of thing).

Stopped by this unassuming donut place a bit before closing. Was not expecting to get blown away by some S-tier donuts!

As someone a little too interested in donuts I've had my fair share. These are probably the best I've ever had. The dough errs on the side of less sweet which is how it should be. I'm talking to you Krispy Kreme.

Chocolate is my go to and these don't disappoint. The chocolate cinnamon roll is awesome. It's airy, great chocolate with just a little cinnamon. I'm not a huge cake donut guy but the choc cake ones are something else. They are the perfect texture and density, a little less heavy.

I also got a lemon filled. Great contrast between the dough and lemon. The lemon is fantastic, thicc 🍋 with a lil zing factor. and the generous amount is what clinches it.

My kids picked vanilla and strawberry frosted. I can't speak to those but they were fighting over them the next day, and they're usually pretty whatever about donuts.

Anyway this is the most I've ever talked about donuts so I better stop before I get too carried away. I felt compelled to review this place not just because the donuts rule, but the owner is so friendly and cool. He threw a bunch of free donuts in because they had a bunch extra and about to close. I hope this place stays around. I have trust issues after my beloved raised in af went under. I'll def...

After trouncing up and down the Timpanogos Cave Trail, a donut (or two) is totally permissible, so it was time to give Cowboy Donuts a go for the first time. While it wasn’t crowded on a Saturday morning, it was clear this place had something going for it. The three women in front of me were giving more focus to their donut decisions than they did the naming of their children. I was not so intent but made two excellent choices - the raised blueberry and vanilla iced. There’s no oily film covering your mouth (are you listening, Dunkin?) and the raised layers were light. The vanilla did exactly what vanilla does - puts you in a good place. The blueberry was just the right amount of sweet. Their motto is “Dang Good Donuts,” but I’m going to channel J. Golden Kimball here and tell you they are damn...
