Wendy's should be embarrassed of the night crew working June 30th at 11pm in American Fork, UT. There was a car in line ahead of us that had been there since before we ordered. We sat and waited behind him for 15 minutes and could tell that he was not happy with the service he was getting. We finally made it to the window and sat for a good 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. We had ordered 2 of the 4 for 4's. Nothing crazy. The young man working the window told me that I had to choose between 3 different types of chicken sandwich without saying why (which I'm guessing they were out of what I ordered). I asked what one of them was and he didn't know, so he asked another employee, who also didn't know. So they then proceeded to talk to the cook about it until the cook came to the window and explained. On a side note, not once did the night manager come to the window or help her staff out with their issues while we were there. To continue, we waited another several minutes and we see a young lady employee walking around the kitchen IN HER SOCKS. If this practice is allowed, what other poor practices go on behind the scenes??? I brought this sock girl up to the young man at the window and his response was "oh it's ok she's not on the clock".... Last I checked you had to be wearing shoes in the kitchen for safety and sanitary reasons? At that point we told him to go ahead and cancel our order and we would take our business elsewhere. We were probably at the Wendy's drive thru for a half hour, just at the window... Ridiculous. Poor standards. POOR POOR...
Read moreI went in to order at about 6:40 on a Friday, so it was decently busy. I wanted to see if I could swap some items in a combo deal, part of why I went inside to order instead of the drive though. I wasn't able to describe what I wanted super well and the young man at the register was patient and very accommodating, the same with his supervisor who helped figure out how to work the computer side of things. I've worked fast food before and I know how frustrating the systems can be when you want to do something non-standrard, so I really appreciate the time they took to help me. :D
For anyone reading though, if you ever do try to order something super custom or try to swap things, please be understanding if the cashier tells you they can't do it. Sometimes the computer system literally won't give them the option; and even if yes, technically they could go ask the back line, stepping away from their station to do that causes WAY more issues than you might think. And if a different location, or heck, even the same location but a different day, was able to do something special one time, that is NOT a guarantee they can do it again. They don't always have the time, extra training, or a high enough level of manager to do that stuff.
TLDR: be extra grateful (should always be grateful to receive a service) when fast food workers are able to do something different or special bc that is the EXCEPTION,...
Read moreOrdered online. Every item was incorrect in one way or another. All buns were stale and crunchy on the outside. No wild special request, something simple like with the nuggets, not getting the sauce that was on the order. Krusty Krab burger, add bacon, missing. JBC add extra cheese, missing....we all get the point, the list goes on. After my wife went to pick up the food, somehow it wasn't ready when she got there 15 min after ordering it online, yet she was asked to pull forward so she did, when the food was brought to her everything was cold. So I'm confused at if it wasn't ready then how was it cold? Moving on, it was missing the sauce for the nuggets and she asked about it and was rudely told "you can go back through the drive through and get some" after the worker sighed and rolled his eyes and then walked off. That level of disrespect is uncalled for for such a simple request that was only made from the employees incompetence and frankly if your employees act that way with the wrong person, there's gonna be issues. The cherry on top, I had multiple hairs, half in and half out of my drink with the lid nicely holding them in there. I truly hope this place goes out of business or changes management and completely reset the store. From Back of house employees who cant read orders and make awful food to front of house customer facing employees who are super rude, this place needs to hit the...
