What really sets Fong Asian Diner apart is the incredible service. The server is a true gem and has gone above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience is always perfect. After just a few visits, he had already memorized our orders, and he now brings our food without us even having to ask. This level of attention to detail and personalized service is truly impressive, and it makes us feel like valued customers every time we visit.
The food at Fong Asian Diner is also exceptional. The menu offers a wide range of Asian dishes, from classic Chinese dishes to Thai curries and Japanese sushi rolls. Everything is made with high-quality ingredients and cooked to perfection, and the portions are generous. I have tried many different dishes here over the years, and I have never been disappointed. My personal favorite is the Bento Box!

Read moreI'm sorry but I can't in good consceince give more than a 2 stars for this place. Another reviewer mentioned confusing entry and not knowing where to sit, we had the same experieince. No host greeted us and we had to be the assertive ones to get their attention mere to grab a seat. I guess that should have been a warning sign. We did make a prior reservation as well so it's not like they didn't know we were coming. Granted we did go on Christmas Eve...we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for our food to arrive at our table. And the food didn't all come at once, it came in bits and pieces. The sweet and sour chicken is by far the worst I've had in terms of presentation (I should've taken a photo). It was so basic, I honestly would have preferred Panda Express. There were herds of people at the door also waiting for their to go orders. Our server (bless his heart) was sort of caught in the crossfire so we don't blame him. He said many to go orders came in at once and bottlenecked everything. But in my opinion, if you've got paying customers(tipping customers) those should get priority over the to go orders. Or at some point, you have to tell the to go orders "sorry, we are so backed up right now, please call back later"... So I don't know if it was a matter of mismanged cooks or what but that is a rediculous amount of time to wait for food that is mostly prepped ahead of time at this type of restaurant. The orange and seaseme chicken weren't terrible but I won't be going back for any food that we ordered. Rent is expensive in this strip mall so I thought the food would be of higher quality but that wasn't the case. I'm not sure how this place has so many 4 and 5 star reviews unless those are being purchased...just my opinion though. We are still on the hunt for an exceptional chinese restaurant in...
Read moreThis place was referred by a super-friendly cashier at Smith's (Lehi) named Travis - thanks Travis!! We finally made it to this place tonight. We gravitated towards the Bento Box section of the menu, as it gave us a lot of options to try a handful of entrees. For dinner prices it was excellent too! We had: General Tso chicken, orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp, Lo mein, Ham fried rice, Mongolian beef, California rolls, and I also had to throw in a separate order of Dragon roll. We were pretty blown away with their Mongolian beef - it's seriously the best we have ever eaten. ANYWHERE. The beef is super fresh, and not one piece of fat or grizzle. The flavor was superb! It's prob my most FAV! The general tso and orange chicken were also fantastic - you can tell it's made fresh, and it had the right amount of batter to it. Lo mein was also impressive, particularly that they don't put too much cabbage in there (we like more noodles than cabbage!) so this was a HIT for us! Most Chinese restaurants have more cabbage than noodles in their Lo Mein, but not here! California roll and dragon roll were as expected - and they also had the option of having light soy sauce (aka low sodium) - also another sign that this place is doing it right. I had the privilege of meeting the owner, Walter. He is super personable, kind, relatable, and was just fun to have a conversation with! We gave him some feedback on the food and was super appreciative and just plain GENUINE. He really made you feel that he appreciated us as customers. In addition, our server was super attentive (Elissa or Elizabeth?) and had good feedback in regards to the food. Will def come back here and it has become one of our FAVS here in...
