Angelo's Hamburgers — Restaurant in Anaheim

Angelo's has been around for at least 50 years. The waitress gets around on roller skates with precision and grace. I couldn't believe it when she had 3 beers on a tray, practically slammed into the door to get to the outdoor seating area, and didn't spill a drop! Amazing to watch.

My cousin told me stories of coming here back in the day when he was in HS. Also would drop in to get something to eat before going to an Angels game. Lots of good memories.

The atmosphere is sports. I think they have all the NFL team flags hung from the ceiling. They have several TV screens to watch sports and indoor or outdoor seating.

The food was delicious. My cousin had his traditional cheese burger. It's served open have with lettuce and tomato with a couple rings of onion. I had the Philly Philly cheese steak, and I was impressed. The meat the peppers and cheese were perfect. But the real star of this sandwich was the bread! It was perfectly toasted with a light crunch on the outside and still soft and fluffy inside. Perfection! The fries were excellent as well. I wish I had taken a couple pics of the food to post for y'all.

Food was good! I would go again, but in the day time lol. Burgers were good size and the onion rings were yummy. I was picking up my rental car from the Hyundai dealership down the street. We were starvkng and my 4 year old wanted hamburgers. This was the closest place. It was sunset time, there were a lot of motorcycles out in the front. Since I don't know the area and I'm a single mom I decided not to go inside. So we went to the drivethru. Menu had a lot of options, some of the prices were wrong. Kids meal was pricy. So I just got a kids cheeseburger, a regular cheese burger, fries... and I couldn't help myself for the onion rings. They only accept cash or Venmo. I didn't read the paper sign they made so I didn't know until after I ordered. Luckily I still have my venmo app. We got our food and decided to eat in the car at a parking space. Because our drive home was 2.5 hours. The people that hang around that area are sketch at night...

Worst Service ever! Came here on 04/26/25 around 5pm After our family Disney day, tried ordering through Drive Thru and after multiple attempts of trying to order 5 combos the Employee kept giving “smart remarks”. Then after multiple attempts, I asked for his name, which he refused to give, I wanted to make sure the owner knows how his customers are being treated, Then When i went to the window, “Johan” the Manager still didnt give me the rude employees name and I explained to him that due to that Rude associate the Owner was losing our business, when i was about to place a pretty big order. I hope the managers and owner find out this incident and either train their employees and or make sure that they Change their “smart ass” attitude. Will not be coming back. We have so many other options Dont have to be rude to customers that are trying to support “small...
