Before coming here I read the reviews and some that I read I thought to myself "This can't be true" but after coming here and giving them a try I am convinced the low score reviews are true. I came in and noticed the music too loud for being a small place. I was greeted by the waitress and ordered my food, I had to tell the waitress "Can I have a soda please" (she didn't bother to ask me if I wanted something to drink) ... the food finally came out after a few minutes but I noticed it was barely warm more on the cold side, the soup that came with my food was just a bit warm. I was hungry so I ate my food fast before it really got cold with the full blasted Air Conditioner running. I then asked the waitress for my bill, she brought it and I noticed right away the bottle soda cost $4.00 that was nearly half of my food that I ordered. I'd understand if it was a soda fountain drink where you get refills but nope this was just one bottled soda, plus I had to ask for water cause not even that was I asked by the waitress. So in conclusion my experience here was just like the few others who rated this place with a low score because that's just what it was. I don't recommend this to others but if you want to test your luck give it a try, I'm definitely not coming...
Read moreThe husband and I went back for a 2nd visit. We noticed the name semi changed so we're not sure if they changed ownership of the restaurant. We went around 7pm hoping to enjoy a calm dinner. That was not the case. They had music blasting so loud the waitress couldn't even hear what we ordered. The guy in charge of the sound system kept doing karaoke through out yhe whole time we were there, he sang the whole freakin time lol. We did get the wrong drinks but this problem was solved right away. I tried ordering their lengua ranchera but they didn't have that so I settled for the birria. The meat was a bit chewy and also there wasn't enough spices added because the flavor was off. It did take a while to get our food but our food was hot. Had they not had such loud music we definitely would have enjoyed our visit. On our very 1st visit here, we ordered breakfast. It was quiet and enjoyable. Try their Cafe de Olla. You won't be...
Read moreWow! So impressed with this place. Randomly found it after a long day at Disney and decided to get out of the park for some good grub. I’m so glad we came here. All 4 of us enjoyed what we ordered. I highly recommend the quessabirria tacos. I’ve never had them before so I can’t compare with any other place, but it was SO good that I ordered another one mid-way into my carne asada burrito. Others got the grande torta, pork burrito with red sauce, and my friend made the right choice of just ordering the quessabirria tacos for her meal :) Beware the burritos are spicy (or maybe it was the red sauce) so just ask. I did notice some chunks of jalapeño peppers in the burrito so that could’ve been it. Anyway, it had a great kick and was delicious, but if spicy food is your weakness you might want to get something else. Will definitely be back if I’m back in...
