Centrally located in Orange County, this place has only been open for a month and I believe that they will go far. They buy used electronics and they even take them if they are broken, recycling the remainder of unusable partsâ in a phone, for instance. In the case of a laptop or phone, PayMore will wipe the memory for your safety, to deter whomever buys the product next from getting into your private information.
They are nationwide and sell a variety of products online, from laptops and videogames to phones or even drones! I had half expected to see a messy, musty pawnshop of an atmosphere, yet they were quite the opposite. The store was tastefully decorated and clean. It smelled like a new car.
PayMore's employees were very easy to deal withâ cheerful and informative, very helpful. Dominic did an outstanding job of helping me and I had promised to come back to buy a laptop, as mine had been stolen from me right in the middle of my Cybersecurity classes ...
PayMore would be my first choice in purchasing or selling any form of electronic product in the future, and I highly recommend you consider them as well.
I am one of their first satisfied customers at this location, yet I am very much sure that I am not one of their...
Read moreI highly recommend this place. I came to this PayMore location with a bunch of old electronics. The place is kind of small, but it's cool. Almost like a little electronics cafe, with a few tables and chairs where you can hang out if there's someone ahead of you.
Chanh was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient as he answered my questions. He looked everything over and explained what he could buy and what could only be recycled. He made a fair offer for a laptop when he could have cheated me and said it was worthless. I was very impressed with his integrity.
I knew they can erase data from your hard drives, but I removed all of mine to destroy them for added security. Chan said that's fine, it actually saves them some time. So you can do it either way seems best to you -- let them clean your data or handle it yourself before you go in.
Jorge walked me though the checkout process. A couple of signatures and a fingerprint was all it took (they don't buy stolen equipment) and he paid me in cash. If you have old electronics laying around this is a great way to dispose of them responsibly. You may even walk out with some money in...
Read moreI came to this PayMore location after cleaning out my garage. I had decades worth of old electronics -- 2 desktop towers, 3 laptops, 2 tablets, and some old phones. Some old PCs I had kept as projects to restart with Windows 98 or XP and run old software just for fun. Somehow "someday" never came. So I loaded up my SUV and took them to PayMore.
After a short wait as they helped other customers, Chanh walked out with me to see what I had. He explained what they can buy and what gets recycled. Most everything was too old to resell, but he noticed a gaming laptop in my box and said he was interested in that. He asked me if it booted, and I said it does but I removed the hard drives for data security. He said, "No problem, we have lots of hard drives." He checked it out and gave me a fair price for a laptop with no hard drive! Jorge was super helpful checking me out as well. So I unloaded everything else inside the door and walked out with some cash. I went straight to Blake's Place for some of their...
