First time here, and I was pleasantly surprised. I brought the family in for dinner and was seated right away, which is always a bonus, especially when you have hungry kids during the dinnertime rush. The restaurant is very clean and well organized, and the bathroom was tidy and fully stocked. Staff are very attentive and friendly, the table service is great and they make sure the food selections were always refilled before they got too low. The restaurant itself was real quaint with a comfortable atmosphere. A great place to unwind and enjoy your favorite comfort foods. Moving on to the food.... As soon as you walk in, there is an excellent salad bar. That was my first choice. I absolutely enjoyed the fresh selection of veggies and was pleased to see there was plenty of choices to choose from. Across from the salad bar, there was a taco stand set up. My husband tried the barbacoa, carnitas and whole roasted chilis. He gave the lot, TWO THUMBS UP! For dinner, there was a beautiful roasted ham, teriyaki glazed salmon, made to order, flame grilled signature sirloin steaks topped with shrimp scampi and a lovely fried fish, all were crowd pleasers. I absolutely loved the LARGE deep fried butterfly shrimp and fried fish, I highly recommend those two entree choices. I paired my selection with the turnip greens and the MOMMAS MASHED POTATOES, talk about AMAZZZING!!! Those potatoes are absolutely delicious!! My oldest son enjoyed the potroast and roasted potato, and my hard to please 8 and 5 year old sons were satisfied with a kid friendly sized steak burger, mac n cheese, pepperoni pizza and fresh fruit. Dessert was also a hit, you can choose from soft serve with a variety of toppings, to cake, brownies, cookies, jello, sherbert, pie, and a chocolate fountain, you can't go wrong. Oh, AND there's COTTON CANDY, can't forget that. So, there's something for everyone. I want to thank John the owner for his hospitality, and Araceli for making sure our visit here was great (thanks for posing for my review photo Araceli, you're AWESOME)! We definitely will be back....

Come expecting a hometown buffet and be blown away! Prices are a bit more expensive, but it's worth it. Came on a Tuesday at 5:30pm and there was no line. It was about $100 for 5 adults, 1 child, and 2 beverages. ($16.29 per adult) The beverages are self service, but the waiters and waitresses offer to refill your drinks for you constantly. You can even order milk, chocolate milk, or a hot cocoa packet through the servers. Our waitress was Alicia and she was awesome! She cleared plates quickly and offered to refill drinks even though our table was next to the soda fountain. On to the food. The buffet setup is the same as the hometown buffet they took over. They had a taco station but I didn't feel like waiting in line for it. I really enjoyed the prime rib. It's rare when they slice it, so ask for them to cook it for you before they place it on your plate. Everything else I tried was good too, but my favorite was the prime rib. They also have a large variety of desserts! I like how they have the skewers in the strawberries, pineapple, marshmallows, and rice krispies so your hands don't tough them before placing in the chocolate fountain. It's definitely more sanitary. They also have cotton candy and thrifty ice cream (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and rainbow sherbet)! Make sure you hand a bowl over to whoever's scooping ice cream. There's cakes, pie, cupcakes, cookies, jello, pudding, soft serve, and delicious gummy bears as well! Such a great way to end our meal. I would return for the variety of food and the...
Read moreLess than one star!!!Worst place ever visited!!!!!! Place was filthy, found dead fleas on plates. Can't take survey on receipt because they are not accepting surveys at this time. Now I know why!! No water to drink. I got charged drinks for all our party of 5. We don't drink sodas or other drinks they have. Food was old and chicken strips were chewy and un edible. My 11 old grandson brought a glass of ice and said he would wait for it to melt! My 9 year old grandson went to get vanilla ice cream and it was soup style. so they both just ate chocolate chip cookies for lunch. I was to embarrassed to make a scene. My other grandson who is 19 came from Oregon stop by for three hours only. He was on driving through on his way back home. A surprised visit.A lady kept telling me there was water!!! When there was none. Then I was told there was a leak, and water was shut off. They knew about it at cash register!! Why wasn't I told there was no water when I paid. Food was scarce for being lunch time. and what was in food trays were old and gross. We arrived at 12:38 pm on July 8th 2019. Cashiers name on receipt says "Angela G." although not her fault she should have done something!!!! I never wrote a review before, but this was such an awful experience that I had to warn anyone thinking of going to this...
