First and foremost I understand business and how things can get busy at times but today I’m left with no understanding of what I just experienced at Anderson Tap House I walked in with a very special person to celebrate a Birthday. I patiently waited for 10 mins to be seated because the sign said wait to be seated. After realizing no one was coming we decided to take up a couple of seats at this nice looking bar. I ordered a patron and a sprite on the side as I casually ask the bar tender can we order food? I was TOLD that the kitchen was closed. I was in full understanding until a group of eight (pictured below) entered and was greeted immediately. Ok no big deal ,they were seated and every one was giving a menu. After I asked the bartender what that was about he left and never returned. I decided to take a sip of my (Patron) that turned out to be chilled water Si I decided to locate the manager. I was giving a 25 dollar gift card and told I experienced this because they were short staffed. So basically it was much easier to seat 8 people and feed them rather than the two. I could only notice my friend and I where the only 👫🏿people in the establishment. We were offered food as we walked out but I thought the kitchen was closed. The manager said she would address the problem. But how will I know? This review is from FB friends experience....safe to say I will not be supporting this establishment

The place has a cool vibe but I was left a little disappointed because they are serving frisches/ocharleys level food at longhorn/carrabas prices (in terms of chains). They are new so I’m hoping they learn from their reviews. The artichoke dip and Buffalo dip were good. The chips leave something to be desired. At 18.99 for fish and chips I was not happy with the two flat small pieces of fish and the chicken tenders were extremely thin, although they tasted good. At 14.99 they were overpriced as well. Their well drinks are $5 on happy hour which I also found a little overpriced. The fish and chicken did not seem house made. They seemed like something they purchased in large quantities. I was also disappointed the games were not free like 16 bit. No one’s going to be playing such a small section of games if they’re already paying for dinner and drinks unless their kids are begging. I’d be willing to give it another chance if they make some changes. Editing 11/01/2023 We stopped in recently to give this place another go, we were pleasantly surprised to say the quality of the food drastically improved. I got a Buffalo wrap, my partner and his mom got the smothered chicken (smaller than anticipated but good flavor). The Buffalo chicken dip was delicious as were the fries and onion rings. I had a mixed drink and that was also very good. I change my review from 3 stars to 4.

I ordered take out and my food was awful! I ordered the Tap House burger and it was dry as a bone over cooked (I asked for medium and not an ounce of pink was it it) and gross. I asked for cheese and that was nothing. Food was just thrown together and then placed in my bag upside down. Who does that? I understand sure I guess things happen but when you pay $30 for food that’s just average it’s not worth it. Then finally to top it all off some woman at the bar took out her phone and started filming! Without my consent put me on her Snapchat and acted as if I didn’t see her. For that I’m not even sure I’ll be back! I really liked this place before but now I’m not sold on it. Picture attached is how my burger looked arriving home. Really hope the manager does something about the woman as I’m most upset about that.

The food was okay, but they close the kitchen too early for this area (Anderson), which is in dire need of good late night eat-in options. The food was mediocre for the high price. We sat down at the bar at 8:30 pm on a Wednesday night, and the lanky male bartender yelled at us that, "The kitchen closes at 9, so make it fast!" as he slammed our menus down on the bar. He then didn't return to take our order for 20 minutes, then somehow shirked it off onto a waitress who described herself as a "substitute filling in." The drinks were overpriced and I had to tell this poor waitress how to make my drink order. The furniture is still from two failed restaurants ago (you can still smell the spoiled seafood smell a little from the last place Cedricks.) The addition of video arcade games and the pool tables are nice, but it took away what used to be the nicest elevated booth area to sit when it was Bar Louie. Also, I have to pay for the games? Even though I'm dropping $80.00 for dinner? The manager looked like Darth Vader as she policed the staff and groused/screamed about their table duties. The staff seemed to be fighting amongst themselves. It was all topped off by a schizotypal drunk man preaching loudly across the bar about conspiracy theories, whom, surprisingly, the rude bartender DIDN'T see fit to yell at, or remove. It pretty much sucked. Also for a place called TAP House, where's the over the top tap selection? They're mundane, boring beers. Tap House should have walls lined with taps! It was underwhelming at best. At the very least, get the beer part right. This location is where restaurants go to die, but no one will...
