Read morelow level service (this was a dinner dash order m) -80+ $$ Order and cold food not cold and hot food not warm. -- NO bread on an 80$+ order. What? -no plastic wear -chicken burned on edges or microwaved...
Tried to order delivery directly and was told we are .03 miles too far away... Rules are rules so we ordered door dash. When we were allowed to order directly from Carrabas we got bread, we got plastic wear for our 80$ lunch meals. We did not get the same experience... today, even though we had extra fees..i really wish they could have overlooked that.3 miles. Anyway, the hot food wasn't hot because they stacked cold food and hot food together.. the salads are lukewarm, as is the cake.... I went from being their biggest advocate to needing a break from such low level service.
If you have been to Carrabas you know their bread and oil mixture is outstanding- for me, it is why we go.... , and we didn't even get one stinking piece... our meal was over 80$
WTH!!!! So sad and my chicken was burned and seemed reheated. Worst experience we have ever had at Carrabas... but usually we go to crest view..... clearly we will never visit this location but will go back to crest view...
.03 miles....
Update: manager mindy offered us 15$ if we came to their store... Why thank you mindy for going above and beyond while we microwave our 80$ meal and bring our daughter microwaved food while she navigates her way through covid.
We won't be taking you up on that offer of 15$... we wouldn't want to see this level of service in person and to your suggestion to deal with door dash .... we called the store hoping management would value longtime Carrabas customers and take ownership- no thank you to your suggestion of calling door dash as we will microwave our 80$ meal but avoid the chain of calls we would have to make so that you can avoid giving us...
Read more(Dined 2018Dec18. JMM, paid on Amex) too lazy to fix dinner, we thought to rediscover this for a quick inexpensive bite... Support the old local places...
Bad idea.
Service took quite a leisurely while to arrive, and immediately pushed to know what we want. Our waiting had not been helped by the front door banging close all evening; no money for upkeep?
Drinks took even longer as the waitress would do things enroute doing other stuff ..including servicing the later-arriving tables. Accidental Server, the movie, I guess.
Server finally arrives with the Peroni after a few stops before getting to our table ... Very nice pilsner glass, beer was meh sorta maybe almost cold, and no head foam survived the long sail. She again briskly checks if we know what we want - even before she sets the drink down....
So all these make me not want to trust their seafood, and I pick the Tuscan grilled chicken... pitifully flat desultory piece, as dried up as it looked, too. Made me think KFC and the extra 12 bucks this cost.... Chicken was plopped alongside the overcooked fettuccine glopped with I think Alfredo. Giving an "A" for effort to make this look as unartful as could possibly be done.
Gave up on on the chicken after chewing through a third, to appease my wife who suggested the place... Well I hope the dog likes the chickenc i saved for him. If I can, I'll post a picrure of the Tuscan roadkill. If I were Tuscan I'd sue all these places for damage to the name ...as if Italy didn't have enough problems ..
I've given this experience a day, I'm really in a fantastic mood... and the whole experience is still just unsalvageable. Wife and I had one of the only few frosty, blunt discussions in 25 years.
Well, the interior's brown color palette was very nicely done....nah...sorry, too many other better places...
