IHOP — Restaurant in Anderson Township

This review is for me and my party. When we arrived here we waited to be seated for probably around 10mins and the place wasn't very busy. While waiting someone came out of the bathroom and said it was atrocious which isn't very good... After we were finally seated our waiter was here in a timely manner to get our drinks for us which she did a good job, no complaints there. We ordered our food, I got a steak omelette which i enjoyed and the new Wonka Pancakes. My bro ordered a chicken buscuit, his girlfriend ordered some steak with rice, salad, and fresh fruit. My Omelettte was perfect but the pancakes were a bit overcooked. My bro's chicken buscuit fell apart which he wasn't very pleased about and regretted his decision. His girlfriends steak was chewy and the waitress never asked her how she wanted it cooked, her salad was just lettuce and tomato with a red onion, the rice she loved and enjoyed, and she never received her fresh fruit. After we finished eating we asked for a to-go box and to exchange the fruit and steak for more of the rice to-go. After waiting for a while a different waitress came and brought the food on a plate and we didn't receive out to-go boxes which we asked for. They didn't ask if we wanted to split our check and just brought it to us and while running the card we saw all the waitresses together looking in our direction and then others were staring in our direction which was a bit uncomfortable...

Anyways... Food was okay, drinks were fine, and the service was okay/uncomfortable. I give a 2 star because they corrected the issues we had which was the steak, the fruits, and the to-go boxes. Not worth my time to...

So this Ihop at 7400 beechmont avenue cincinatti ohio was probably the worst IHOP I ever been to hands down it was 7-13-2024 after the Luke Bryan concert at riverbend we pull in to the parking lot at 12:13 am after being at a concert in the 90+ degree heat since 530 you tend to get a bit hungry so we stopped we waited almost 30 minutes just to get drinks and then we ordered waited for the longest time never checked on apart from the one time when we got drinks at 1225 after 150 am in the morning I talked to the other two people at our table we we got up to go talk to the front desk people 1 table asked me about the conversation and I told them we have been waiting on food for almost 2+ hours and then 3 other tables heard me needless to say we all were heading to the front desk after i went to the counter to ask about the food the waitress asked us if we were waiting for a check and im like check we haven't even gotten our food we ordered and your worried about getting paid when the only thing we got were 3 drinks told her were leaving and the other 3 tables how heard us also decided to head out worst Ihop ever we ended up finding a 24 hour white castle that was open by our hotel and got dinner

here's a few ideas ohios worse IHOP

1 maybe focus on people in house and then worry about online orders

if you know there is a big event close by maybe over staff to accommodate a half full house and keep online orders finished or shut down

Pros: Food tasted good Facilities were clean Was seated quickly and food was served in a timely manner Good coffee

Cons: Service was poor Food/coffee wasn't as hot as I like it personally, however it also was NOT cold

My experience here was not so good, however I know that it all came down to poor service. Our server was very rushed and anxious, almost to the point of seeming under the influence. After arguing with her about the price that was on the menu (before ordering) our food came and I was pleasantly surprised. Good flavor, it was fairly warm (not to my liking, but acceptable), and was a VERY large portion! I noticed that the restaurant boasts the never ending carafe of coffee, however we had to ask for more coffee twice (the carafe only holds about 2 cups at a time). Like I said, I believe my seemingly poor experience was solely based on service and I did pay attention to the other servers there, they seemed nice and pleasant. I would recommend this place to others and may even try...
