I just want to share my experience at Art's Pizza on Scatterfield Rd. 1st the pizza and spaghetti w/meatballs were very good. Did not eat any of the salad. Now for the reason for only 2 stars. There is a sign when you walk in "please seat yourself". With this understanding I expect to be able to find a clean table. There were some high top tables, but prefer not to sit there unless nothing else is available. I stood by a table waiting on the waitress (taking an order next to me). I did attempt to get her attention as she walked away. Then my wife went to the counter to get someone to wipe off the table. The same waitress I was waiting on told another young girl to come and wipe it off. The 1st waitress brought back drinks to the table next to me again, then walked away again (not even acknowledging me). She (the waitress) finally came back and took our drink order (10minutes). It took her 4 times coming by the table to even get my drink order. That same waitress walked by our table 6 times while we were there and NOT once asked us if we needed anything else or how everything was. No one ever came by and took a single dirty plate from the table during the entire visit to the buffet. It was about 5 minutes before we left that another waitress asked us how things were. I like Art's and will continue to get food at the Broadway location, but never again on...
Read moreMy husband and I just called to order a pizza. The website says the facility closes at 10. A young woman answered the phone and I asked if I could place an order for pickup. She replied in a passive aggressive tone “uh can you be here by ten?”. It was 9:10pm at the time I called. I said “yes we can” and asked to order an extra large Philly cheese stake pizza. I asked if they still had the Wednesday special deal and the woman was once again passive aggressive and short with me and said “yeah we do”. I felt really uncomfortable at this point because it was very clear to me that this woman did not want to work or put in the effort required to serve me. I said “I think we are actually going to pass, you guys have a good night.” I work as a server in a restaurant, so I understand the feeling you get when it’s close to close and someone comes in, but we called 50 minutes before close to order and we always tip 20% even on our carry out orders. My husband and I were out of town all day and were really looking forward to ending the night with our usual order from Arts. We live 5 minutes away but will probably not return to this location. I know its tough when the shifts almost over, but you’ve got to keep it together and remember that you choose to work in customer service and it’s your job to serve...
Read moreMy family ( ages 29- 70's )decided to choose this place to have a meal after my Grandmothers funeral. I tried to convince my family to go to the real "Arts" which is on 29th and Main because I have only eaten that location and it is always awesome. They wanted the Scatterfield location due to it having more than 3 booths. When we arrived at this location, they proceeded to tell us that even though we were all together at the funeral we could not sit together. So part of my family sad across the room from us due to their policy for Covid. Even though, I know that right before we were told no, they allowed a 12 top in their "pit"( center area in the middle of the dining room surrounded by half walls). Same manager allowed that "party" but wouldn't allow ours. I am not sure why. The food was not even remotely the same as the 29th street location. We threw away two roast beef sandwiches and half a pizza just from our table of 6. If you are wondering which location to visit, do not choose this one. We, all the people who were with me for this event and their families, will never be back. I was asked to remove my FB review by "upper management " I will not be removing this one. Go elsewhere people..they were just rude, tacky, and...
