What a joke. First when I got there, they didn't have any record of my appointment that I made several days in advance. I did end up getting a stylist, if you can call her that. I don't blame the students, but the instructors that I have seen on my visit today and other times before are just plain lazy or they just don't care. I went in today for a blowout, which is a service listed on their salon menu online. The student washed my hair, blow dryed it....kind of, and then straightened it after I was obviously displeased with the results. The poor girl had NO CLUE what she was doing and the instructor must have walked by 6 different times. Didn't say a word as she watched the girl rip the round brush through my hair in all kinds of directions, leaving my hair frizzy and probably damaged. When I left the salon and ran my fingers through my hair, I discovered that the whole underneath of my hair was still SOAKING WET. So now I'm at home and redoing my hair myself. What exactly did I pay for?

The only reason I gave it two stars was because out of the 5 or so times I have been here, I had ONE good experience about two years ago. That's a 20% success rate. I will definitely not be back. The individuals that work the desk area lack a lot to be desired. We went in two days in a row due to the process of what we were doing took a long time which was fine. The first day the gentleman at the desk was told me we couldn't get my daughters hair done because it was too late in the day when the Lady that scheduled us specifically told us 6 was the late appointment for color. When I started to question it and get a little frustrated (left work early and drove an hour) he became snarky and rude. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he told me it would do no good but I said I wanted to anyways. About 15 minutes later the sweetest stylist ever came and got my daughter and did her hair. We have absolutely nothing but amazing things to say about our stylist as she worked long and hard to make my daughters dream hair happen. When we came back the next day (left work early again and drove an hour) we were told by the girl at the desk that I had called and canceled my appointment. 15-20 minutes of back and forth and being told my payment the day before didn't go through and a bunch of nonsense, they determine they got us mixed up with another client. All this to say no issues with the stylist or supervisors as they were all very helpful and nice. The front desk needs better...

Enrolled in school from 9/13-10/19 In school for 176/1500 hours and was billed for $5600. That wasn't including supplies. They kept my supplies. They are big on retaliation. Mrs Taylor is salary paid so she would come and go whenever she pleased. Would literally leave the students (including myself) in the classroom by ourselves for hours throughout the day. She would let the other student come and go as they pleased too. She would even ask them to run and get her some food from restaurants. I didn't like the fact that they did not practice integrity. I told Nicki about it, and the next thing I knew I was no longer welcomed in the program. Everyone turned against me. If I have to get my hours docked for my absences why can't the other students!?!
