Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Ann Arbor

This has to be the worst Chipotle in the state of MI at minimum...DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! The employees hired at this location always (even with staff turnover) are EXTREMELY unprofessional, rude, and very TRASHY- consistently. The food is always lower quality BURNT and sits out long and dries out- they begin to close the inside and put chairs on the tables over an hour before the location actually closes to discourage customers from dining inside so they can leave early. I'd like to emphasize that this location consistently exhibits the worst customer service that I've described here, every single time I've tried to revisit this location after a sizable amount of time has gone by to see if the location has improved...it never does, I'm done with ever going back to this location permanently. You pay for extra and they give you hardly any extra, when you reasonably and politely ask for a little more they get hostile, at every other Chipotle location I've ever been too they are reasonable and respect their customers. I have immense respect for Chipotle as a company but if they seriously do not audit this location and hold them to the company standards and values they will continue to tarnish their reputation. Food was delicious! We visit this location here and there and we've always had a good experience. At our most recent visit, the employees working the order line were great and friendly! We had an odd experience with the employee, Kaitlyn (according to the receipt), though, when checking out at the register. It was busy, so we completely understand employees being stressed. Right when we got to the register, though, she had an attitude with us. After we had gotten to the register we asked if we could have two drink cups please. She rolled her eyes, tossed the cups in the bag, barely said a word, tossed the rest of our stuff in the bag some more with visible annoyance because of our question. Apparently she had already rung up our order before we got to the register- which is great - but the eye rolling happened when she had to click the X on the card reader so that she could cancel the transaction and add drinks to the order. I feel silly even leaving a poor review for something like this..but if I felt her attitude/eye-rolling was justified or I felt we were rude in any way to her then I wouldn't be leaving this review. Last thing people want to deal with when just trying to get some food is attitude for no reason - esp after waiting 20 mins for food (which we were completely fine w until after we left...

If you are looking for lunch at Briarwood Mall, the absolute best spot to go is CHIPOTLE! You will be greeted by some of the nicest people. They are always so happy & so kind no matter how busy or how stressful their day is going. The food is always fresh & if you have special requests this staff goes above & beyond to ensure satisfaction! I have Been a loyal customer of chipotle briarwood for around 3 yrs & year after year, they continuously outdo themselves in terms of the experience, customer service & the environment. The management team always has fresh food prepared for any circumstance & they keep a great staff happy day in & day out! Major shoutout to this chipotle! If the CEO of Chipotle reads this, tell him I said This store deserves the highest awards. Major shoutout to my favorite burrito artists.
