The service was prompt, so my review is not reflecting on their level of service. My review is a reflection of the flavor of their food. The place was nice and clean, however I came here for Thai Food.

I ordered the Pad Pak w/ Chicken at Yoga Flame level spice, which is supposed to be their second hottest. I was really looking forward to having a delcious Thai meal as it's one of my favorite cuisines and I have been to many places, and not limited to just Michigan. (Thai Ocha - Plymouth, MI is my local standard)

Vegetables in dish:

I noticed that the vegetables didn't even look like they were sauteed in the pan. It's as if they just grabbed a handful of veggies and threw it into the dish to serve it right from the fridge. This is not how you anyone should cook their Stir Fry. Stir Fry, means you actually stir the veggies and lightly Pan Fry them to give them flavor. I'm not eating a Veggie Salad here, so don't toss in veggies straight from the fridge.

Chicken:

You should probably use a general seasoning for your poultry, because it lacked any flavor, and didn't pick up any flavor from the dish either. If you're going to pre-cook your chicken, then flavor it with something that works across the board. If not, then don't pre-cook your chicken. It seriously had no flavor at all.

Spice Level:

I expected my mouth to be somewhat on fire for ordering the second spiciest option, the Yoga Flame. Honestly, this was really mild. Taco Bell's spice packets are spicier than this, that's pretty sad that your food isn't as spicy as a fast food taco joint.

If you want to step your food game up, I suggest eating at Thai Ocha in Plymouth, MI. That's some real thai food, real flavor, real quality.

If you come to No Thai, expect to get No Thai Food. It's way too Americanized and lacks everyhting Thai Food should...

We’ve been eating at No Thai for years and have eaten at all their locations. Never been disappointed-until today. I called their other locations for takeout and was told a 40 minute wait (unusual for 7:30pm on a Friday, but okay). So we decided on this location and ordered. Food was out in less than 40 min, but when I got there to pick up, there were only 4 people in the restaurant. Not sure what was up with the long wait times, but this has happened at No Thai regularly over the last few months. This particular night was midnight madness which could be a factor but again, there were only 4 others eating in the restaurant while we were there. Takeout from No Thai used to be 15-20 minutes.

So we got our food, which had just come out and was hot and fresh, but there were some issues. The crab wontons we ordered were so overcooked/stale we could barely bite through them. I’ve had these dozens of times at other locations and they are always crispy, fresh and delicious. Tonight they were inedible. Also, the tofu in my pad cashew was burnt-like crunchy, bitter, and black. Not cool. So this was an unusually bad experience at this location. Overall, I really love No Thai but there are some issues that need to be addressed to keep me...

I ordered about a year ago, Pad Thai. It was mostly noodles and a sham of an excuse for that dish. Today I'd had a looong day at work, ordered for pick up, young lady with the glasses who'd helped me on the phone with my order was fine. She put up with my phone follow up to my online order to add something to replace the 'no mushrooms' I'd said, but since no online option to replace with something comparable, she got me. Much appreciated. HOWEVER, I ordered tofu for the protein in my dish. It was so dried out, overcooked, tasted bad. Awful. I'm adding a pic of some pieces I took out to show my point. I'll add, I'm a cook, so i understand that tofu fried should not be overcooked. They absolutely were so that tufu was barely still inside. Many overcooked shells of the batter in my tofu serving, or overly shrunken pieces. Lastly, I ordered medium heat. In no world was that medium heat. Non-existent heat more-like. Hope you can improve. You're so busy, you may think you don't need to. To me, that just shows how unhealthy our (the public) expectations are these days. Otherwise, I asked for lite sauce, it still came up halfway around the food. I don't expect a lot for quick food, I know you can do...

Was ok.. expected a lot more, because me and my wife love Thai food and eat frequently towards detroit area .. food was ok.. don't expect different or special. Good for a quick getaway food .. we ordered medium for food.. the chef must have forgot to add at all.. lol.. the food felt undercooked.. and it felt that they food was warmed up in microwave especially the crab wonton and veggie spring rolls.. the is review is specifically for this location.. please don't judge fast. I have been here only one time and that was my openion..

No Thai— a college student classic! This is one of those comfort-places that just satisfies your Thai cravings for a relatively affordable Pros: good selection, good prices, lots of locations Cons: it’s not the best quality in the world but it never claims to be either, sometimes you get unlucky and get a dish where they totally mess up the spice level My recs: pad seeyu, sweet and spicy chicken, curry pad Thai, drunken noodles Pro tip: get their point card!
