This was our first time eating at a PF Changs so we really did not know what to expect. Little did we know we would be blown away by absolutely AMAZING service and food.
Rob was our server and he went above and beyond. My husband's favorite drink is an old fashion. Typically when we go out to dinner they use a mix. Rob suggested that he try one. My husband was hesitant but Rob stated, "I drink these as well so I pretty good at making them". Needless to say, my husband order another one because he stated, that was the BEST! On to appetizers, we love pot stickers. We asked Rob about his suggestions on some of the appetizers and he gave us his honest opinion. We ended up ordering the Northern style ribs, dynamite shrimp, tempura fried green beans, and pork dumplings. All of which was simply delicious!
Next was entrées, my husband asked Rob what he thought of the hot and spicy chicken. My husband stated he wanted spicy. Rob said that would be a great choice. My daughter could not decide on what she wanted so he did a coin toss. I was torn between the beef and broccoli and the pepper steak. He said if you like pepper, this is your dish. Rob said this was one is his favorites. We all went with his suggestions and let me tell you, he did not disappoint!!!!!
By this time we are ready to pop. Rob asked if we would like dessert. At first it was a quick no but Rob stated they had a red velvet cheesecake that was not listed on the menu. We ordered that and the Great Wall of Chocolate (another suggestion by Rob). OMG!!!!!!! They were BOTH amazing!!!!!!!!
Rob made our first time experience one for the books. His service and attentiveness was off the charts. I was able to tell the manager just how much we loved Rob's service but I want to leave a review! If we are ever in Ann Arbor, this will be our go to!
I hope this review reaches the store as well as Rob. Thank you for making out experience spectacular! These Indiana folks with the nice...
Read moreWhere do i start? Oh god. I had the braised short ribs come out over cooked, barely warm and dry so i sent it back to have them remake it after it took 25 minutes to get the first plate of food. It came back out 10 minutes later but it was the exact same plate of food i sent back, now ice cold. I mentioned this to the server and the manager told me i was wrong and it wasnt the same plate, i took a picture of the food when i first got it and a picture when it came back out it was the exact same plate of food i sent back in first place , it even came back out with the spoon i was eating off of still on it , however, the manager told me it was not the same so i didnt want to argue even though the server told me the clown that cooked it the first time refused to remake it. Then i was told the short rib was a naturally dry piece of meat!!! I was appalled when she said that. Now im a Chef!!! And im being debated that the meat should be dry and get cold very fast i called it out and they didnt want to hear that and secondly as a manager myself none of my kitchen staff would never argue with me about remaking something if a guest is complaining about it from the start! I had not been back to this place for similar reasons on previous occasions and this one actually took the cake. If i were the manager there i would fire that cook for arguing with managment staff for not remaking the dish and sending the bussboy out with the same plate of food that was sent back when the manager turned her back. People spend hard earned money to dine with your franchise and the experience should be better than what i received on multiple occasions. The server was very slow but doing her best, not too much to say about her how ever i appreciated someone giving honesty...
Read moreHaving lived in the AA area for a number of years, I remember when the food at this location was at least passable. It was never great, but at least I never felt like I had just been orally mugged. That changed recently.
Twice (because I was at least willing to give them the benefit of the doubt once), in the past few months I have eaten here and twice what I received could only be described as low-effort slop. The entrees clearly appear to be frozen and then warmed up, with the vegetables looking as though they were just awoken from cryogenic stasis. There is nothing remotely redeeming about what is being advertised as food here. You would get double the value and double the quality from any of the locally owned and operated Chinese restaurants. While I am too late to prevent the culinary tragedy that has befallen myself, I can at least implore others not to eat here (and hope that one day this establishment simply falls into a sinkhole). If you want freshly cooked quick Chinese food, go to a local joint. If you want chain-style Asian Cuisine (and nothing wrong with that), go to Panda Express. I can truthfully say that the emotions spawned from eating what is dubbed "food" here has undone several months of my therapist's best work. It may be too late for me, but dear reader, please heed my warning and take your...
