First time guest. I saw their $2 Tuesday promotion on social media and decided to give them a try. This location is out of my way from my usual morning route, but I wanted to try something different. I pulled into the drive-thru line at 9:30am and it was approximately 12 cars deep. By the time I got to the ordering screen, I had been in line for 30 minutes. On the screen, there was a hand-written note that said, "$2 drinks any size - limit 4 per car." I did not take a picture of this sign - I wish I did! I ordered a medium iced coffee. I pulled up to the window and the associate told me that only the small drinks were $2. At that point she had already ran my card for $5 and some change. I asked why they were advertising the $2 drinks any size. She responded that the store owner called and said they needed to change the offer to small drinks only, as they were running low on product. As a consumer, I feel like this was a textbook Bait and Switch. I drove 20 minutes out of my way and spent 30 minutes of my time in line expecting the promo price, only to pay full price because the store owner/manager made a last minute phone call. My advice to that owner: If you plan to run an all-day promotion, you should probably make sure you stock up on plenty on product. To 'run low' on product and change the terms of an all-day promotion 4 hours into operating hours is disappointing. I'm not sure if I'll return based on...

After I said, "Here is the change."... she proceeded to tell me the total again, and I said yes, I gave you a quarter so that I wouldn't receive a lot of loose change. So, instead of me getting .83 ...I will only get back .8 cents. The rest should be in bills. In recall, there's a manager standing right next to her. She then had the nerves to ask me if the remaining change isn't a tip. So what ??? No, I need the correct change back. The manager then proceeded to give me .83 cents, and I said no, that is incorrect. I gave her .25 so that I couldn't get all these loose coins. Did you know she tried to pay me back the correct change by giving me more loose coins for the difference. I handed the loose coins right back and asked them to pay me in a bill. Don't play with me...l will stick to Starbucks down the street or Cuban Cafe directly across the street for coffee. I don't normally ever write negative reviews, but I had to...
Read moreMy wife and I have made a habit of visiting coffee shops in the area to compare flavor, quality, price, and service. We were super excited to see this shop open up… cause the more coffee options the merrier. We, and some friends, tried the Iced O’Brien, the Peppermint Mocha, and the cold brew with some cold foam.
For those wondering about the coffee experience: The oatmilk had a slightly strong flavor, but the espresso in the specialty coffees was fantastic. Not over-roasted or underwhelming. The cold-brew also had a smooth flavor. Not too acidic or too watered down.
The service was also lovely and quick, and the prices felt very reasonable!
I think Double O’s has the capacity to become one of the better options in Orlando. Especially that cold brew 👌👌
Keep it up! We’ll definitely...
