Hungry Howie's Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Apopka

My family and I come to this location every so often because it's the only one we know around the area and we love Hungry Howie's pizza. I have to be honest It's always the hit or miss here! sometimes the pizza is good. The 3 cheese bread is nothing like what it should be, it looks and tastes like there's only mozzarella on it . I went there today because I finally made enough points and received a free pizza! When I got home the dough must have not risen my pizza was flat I also ordered there 3 cheeser bread which I knew better. I should have not gotten it, I took a bite and it was just mozzarella so I called and the young lady offered to make me another one, she explained to me that it is 3 cheese but it comes in a mixed bag and there's mostly mozzarella. So I get home I opened my food the pizza is flat It tastes like the dough was not properly risen, It was free but I would rather have not gotten one at all. I really had a taste for pizza and it was ruined On top of that my 3 cheese bread was undercooked and had a paper thin layer of cheese on it, So I called and took my bread backup there for a refund, When I get there I start explaining to him what took place with the bread also the pizza He starts catching an attitude, so I asked him why is he giving me attitude when I'm the one that made 2 trips up here and still ended up with bad food and a refund! His This attitude could have changed the whole outcome I will not go...

Usually have great luck and delicious pizza at this location... Apparently, however you shouldn’t actually follow the posted store hours, because even though the POSTED hours say the location closes at 11, they shut their equipment down at least a half hour before actual posted closing time... Wife tried to order a pizza for Wacky Wednesday tonight, A little before 20 minutes before location posted hours said they were closed... Called up to the location about 10 minutes prior to make sure order was received (we live less than 10 mins, so I would have had time to pick up and still leave room before posted closing time), and they told her no, they didn’t and wouldn’t get or take her order because they were already closed... ALREADY CLOSED? Prior to POSTED location hours? Misrepresentation is what this equates to... Granted I understand that the staff wants to get out of there as quickly as possible, but if posted hours are until 11, consumers expect that you remain and are able to get goods and services until the posted closing time... I also understand the unwritten rule that it’s rude to walk in at 10:59, however, this was at least 20 minutes before the store closed...

ALSO, the recording when she called prior to getting ahold of an actual person said the store was open for business. When the guy came on and answered, he said the store was closed. Absolutely ridiculous......

I'm actually here now I came in for a lunch special. The guy at the front counter was playing with his dentures in his mouth while he was taking my order, they didn't have a lunch special for what I wanted so when I ask for it to be changed he made it seem like it was a problem. I paid for what I had ordered, when I have him my money he took it in his hand put my change on the counter while my hand was out went over to another register to get the change part of my change came back and slammed my quarter onto the counter and told me to step aside so he can take another order and it'll be about 10 minutes I said okay put my hand back out and here tried to slide my money to me I said I handed it to you why can't you hand it back then he said okay no problem honey in a sarcastic manner I will never come back to this Hungry Howie's in Apopka Florida it already looks like it's closed from outside is no good lighting this is...
