I’m going to start off by saying I work in customer service and I have been for almost 8 years. Today was my first time I had gone to JJ, since I usually get subway or jersey mikes,I was super excited to try it. Since I had never been here before it took me maybe a minute to figure out what I wanted and I was trying to figure out what I wanted but I had taken a minute too long I guess. The person I was with ordered since they are familiar with the place and I asked the lady at the counter if I could make my own and she stared at me like she couldn’t understand me and never said anything back so I told her what I wanted, which was a turkey with cheese and lettuce and mayo and mustard she got visibly frustrated with me about the cheese when I asked if they had other options and was rude with her response and so I repeated what I wanted and she decided to respond with “so what do you even want” and I repeated myself and she said oh so you want a #4 extremely rude and disrespectful towards me and she just looked extremely flustered over simple questions. It didn’t seem like she handle the position she’s trusted in, which is to service new, current, and old customers. No matter what is going on with your personal life you shouldn’t take it out on customers. She put no mayo on, which is no big deal but I had literally asked for it 2 times. I work in customer service, I would never treat anyone the way she treated me. I felt like I wasn’t being welcomed. I truly expected better. The girl at the counter, should probably have a job where she won’t be dealing with customers consistently, because she clearly couldn’t handle simple questions. Read moreI don’t usually go out of my way to do reviews, or complain but I am going to make an exception in this case. While I understand short staffing and busy time periods, I do not understand how Jimmy John’s can coin themselves on being “freaky fast” when I placed my online order an hour ago, and it still has yet to be delivered. I called the shop after 30 mins, just to ensure it went through. It had, but then the call was dropped on their end. I decided to wait a bit more and just called again. They tell me that the order for my kids and I is still in the store, they are busy and only have one driver. Again I understand this happens, but then communicate. Apologize. Offer incentives. SOMETHING. The nonchalance I was greeted with both times I called is what prompted me to write this review. To me, if I’m paying for the convenience of delivery, and tipping, I shouldn’t have to wait an hour for an order we could have driven there and back 5 times for ourselves for by now without any form of communication. Read moreSTAY AWAY I can't stress that enough. If you order for delivery expect your food to always smell I mean reek of smoke because almost all the drivers smoke. I also received a cookie that was obviously intentionally taped shut covering a hole in the corner the manager tried to say it was because they tried to take the sticker off but should they really send out sealed food with a hole regardless of how it got there HELL NO so pissed.
MANAGEMENT Is TERRIBLE the girl that I talked to I was obviously wasting her time she obviously didn't care and said "sorry your having a bad day" when in fact I am not having a bad day actually I am pissed off with your continuing bad service that alone will NOT ruin my day. IF YOU WANT GOOD SERVICE GO TO THE DOWNTOWN APPLETON ONE THEY ARE AMAZING!!! And delivery won't smell of smoke EVER!!!
UPDATE 5/26 I also would like to add not just the management sucks but when I went in for my refund EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE mocked me and was very condescending to me NOTHING will make up for this ridiculous behavior and they all should be ashamed of...
