Tom's Drive In — Restaurant in Appleton

I'd love to give 5 star's, However... as of late, they are lucky to get 2 stars. Now granted... this issue may have something to do with the fact that most "everyone" is scrapping the bottom of the barrel looking for employees. However, From what I was told in store tonight... it comes down to training. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. Why? Well... it's now 4 or 5 straight drive-thru orders that have been messed up. (Yes, I call, they offer to remake the order or send coupons). Let's see... I'll have a #8 Combo, plain, No cheese, just the meat & the bun, And I'd like a small cheese curd. Check the bag before leaving tonight 2/5/22 & no fries. Go in & I'm told..."when you say AND cheese curds, we aer Trained to Automatically remove the fries. Say WHAT??? Get home & find my order of NO Cheese , once again has cheese on the burger... Been eating food from Tom's drive-in since I was like 10. I'm now 60+years old. Not sure I'll be back. At least not any time soon. **I appreciate your efforts to fix the issues. But how about getting it Right the First time like...

I enjoy Tom's, as I've been going since a was a kid, but the burgers are always cold! Mozzerella sticks were still hard and not melted and marinara dipping saucewas cold like it just came from the fridge. Should be served warm.

The only Tom's that serves consistently hot food is in Appleton on Westhill Blvd. I literally will drive from Combined Locks (20 min drive each way) to go to that location when there are 2 that are only a 5 min drive. Not sure what the problem is with these other locations but, when I go out to eat and pay for my lunch or supper, I expect it my food to be hot NOT cold! We were on this side of town and figured we'd give it another shot but same thing again so back to Westhill...

We used to LOVE Toms. We would go there and order the family pack because it was a reasonably priced meal for the money. One day we went and the price had gone up significantly...okay, it was still cheaper than ordering food individually. Then, about 3 years ago, the food went from good to disgusting. The fries, which were comparable to McDonald's at one point, are now soggy and taste like they've been sitting under a lamp. The hamburger I received tonight was cold and gross. We have had this experience the last three times we were there. Third time's the charm, we will not be going...
