Kababstic Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in Arcadia

First time at Kababstic since it took over the Tastea location and I loved it! I’m always looking for more Mediterranean options around here and this is a great addition! The prices are reasonable and a bit cheaper than some of the places in the area and the food is delicious.

I got the chicken shawarma sandwich and it came with a side of fries, veggies, and garlic dip. It’s not really a sandwich in the traditional sense but more of chicken in toasted pita which I LOVE because it doesn’t feel so bready. It kind of reminded me of beef rolls you’d get at Chinese places. It’s very flavorful to the point that I don’t even think you need the garlic dip if you didn’t want to use it but obviously the garlic enhances all the flavors.

I didn’t dine in but when I got there, the place was pretty packed. There are maybe 4-5 tables inside and smaller tables outside. They have an ordering kiosk right when you walk in if you don’t want to go to the counter to order, which is what I did. Kababstic in Arcadia completely exceeded my expectations. The space is clean, bright, and modern, with plenty of parking right in front. Ordering is easy thanks to the touchscreen kiosks with photos of every dish — perfect if it’s your first visit.

I went with the chicken kabob plate and a side of falafel. The chicken was perfectly grilled — juicy inside with a light char outside — and seasoned just right. The falafel? Honestly, some of the best I’ve had in LA: crisp on the outside, moist and flavorful inside, and even better with their creamy tahini sauce. The saffron rice was fluffy and fragrant, and the side salad was fresh with a tangy dressing that balanced the meal perfectly.

Service was friendly and attentive without being pushy. Food came out quickly, and I noticed the kitchen was spotless — a big plus in my book.

Overall, this is a gem for Mediterranean food in the San Gabriel Valley. Generous portions, authentic flavors, fair prices, and a relaxed atmosphere make it an easy go-to.

We are so glad we discovered Kebabstic! From the moment we walked in, the service set the tone. Our order was pretty complicated, but the very kind gentleman at the counter handled it with patience and a smile.

The food itself was absolutely outstanding. Every detail, from the flavorful dressings, to the perfectly seasoned meats, to the crisp, fresh vegetables—was on point. You can tell a lot of care and pride goes into preparing each dish.

We left completely wowed by the experience. Monrovia is lucky to have a place like this, and we truly wish Kebabstic nothing but success. We’ll definitely...
