Wow, where do I start??? First of all, the service started off friendly and then it went left quickly! My wife and I arrive at 3:05pm, 5 minutes past the 3pm cut off time for the lunch unlimited soup and salad special. The first thing we ask the waitress is if we were too late for the deal. Her response was, "it might be, let me check and see if it'll go through. Let me go get my ID badge". Then she went and quickly came back and told us that we weren't too late if we knew what we wanted, she'd go ahead and put it through. She asked us which of the options we wanted with the soup and salad. So my wife initially ordered spaghetti and I ordered the Alfredo pasta. After about a min my wife realized that she enjoyed the spaghetti with the chicken. Chicken parmigiana! So she asked if could change her order since the waitress was still at the ordering kiosk. She was like let me let the kitchen know. When she arrived back she returned with a salad. We were wondering when she was going to take our soup order. We then asked about the soup. She said we ordered these other items instead and that it came with one soup or salad. But that's not what we wanted at all. We only came for the unlimited soup and salad. She was like i'll give to you anyway (sorta frustrated). She then without asking which soup we wanted came out with two different soups and placed them down in front of us. When the main entree orders came she brought the spaghetti and chicken parmigiana. But I had placed the order for the alfredo pasta. Yes my wife had changed her mind understandably from the spaghetti to the chicken parm. When i think that I politely said that i ordered the alfredo pasta she plopped the tray down and frustratingly walked off stating i'm going to have to have someone else help you. From that point on all the other waiters that passed by glared at us. It was so uncomfortable. I have never felt like this at a restaurant before. We should have just left. I don't feel like I can ever go back and have been going to this establishment for years. The manager came out shortly after the waitress stormed off and asked us what was going on. She seemed nice, but didn't seem very apologetic about the waitress. We felt...
Read moreApril 7, 2023: Have not visited in a few years due to poor service experience. My mom wanted to go here for her birthday. It does not seem the standards of cleanliness has changed much since my previous visit. There were two used cloth napkins on the floor next to our table when we were seated.
The waiter seemed to start our service well, but we did not receive our drinks until after he took our order and brought our soups and salad. We asked for refills for ice tea as well.
After finishing our soup and salad, we waited another 30 minutes before entree meals arrived. We also ordered some food to go. How horrible is the kitchen and or planning for our to go orders to arrive before we receive the food we ordered to eat at the restaurant.
No dessert. I do not recommend coming here. It does not seem much has changed in the past few years.
July 20, 2019: The restaurant seems to have lost cleanliness standards. We asked for a booster seat for our child. The one brought to us should have been cleaned before we were handed it. The seat had dried liquid and food all over it. We asked for a towel to clean it.
The hostess who seated us and brought us the booster seat placed it on the table. It was very disgusting to look at... on the table. It took her about two minutes to bring us a dry napkin to clean it. Seriously. A dry napkin to clean it? You would think with three hostesses working the front, one of them could have cleaned the booster chairs. We ended up using the baby wipes we brought with us to clean it and hoped the rest of our experience would be more pleasant.
The food presentation was not any better. Two of the dishes our table ordered were the same dish. Unfortunately the presentation was not the same - the meals were served on two different looking plates. One order had overcooked noodles. The other plate looked great. Food is always salty tasting - expected when you have a lot of cheese in the meals.
Our waitress seemed like she did not want to be there as well. Maybe she had an off day or other things on her mind, but she did minimal...
Read moreI want to Thank the staff for a most enjoyable and memorable evening. I want to thank Jonathan, whom I spoke with on the phone on 4/13/16 to see if I could set up reservations for my wife and I for dinner the next day (4/14/16) for our Anniversary. I didn't know that normally, reservations were only required for parties of 8 and above, but I wanted to make sure we would have a booth and wouldn't have to wait any length of time when we arrived, especially for my wife's sake. He took care of it for us. When we arrived, we were met by the receiving hostess, sorry I didn't get her name, who said, oh yes "Jim", when I only told her we had reservations for 4:30. This made my wife and I feel very well received. She had informed another hostess by the name of Susie, who I think was the manager, who showed us to our table upstairs, where there was no other patrons at the time. Again making us feel very special. She was very attentive and we had conversed as though we all knew each other for years. After attending to our needs and bringing us our salads, we were met by Jovani, our waiter. Jovani was also very attentive and returned to our table to make sure we were doing well several times, which again made the evening very nice for us. They had all wished us a Happy Anniversary several times and made sure we were well taken care of. This happened to be our 32nd Anniversary and outside of our 1st and 25th Anniversary dinner being the best, this was a very close 3rd. Normally I don't write any kind of reviews, but felt this one needed to be written. We have been to Olive Gardens before in Puente Hills and Ontario areas and they were very nice, so this isn't our first experience with your restaurant. Our finances aren't what they used to be, but our Anniversary is important. The price was reasonable, the food was great and the attention was spectacular. Thank You All again for a very, very wonderful...
