The items & description on the menu do not match what they serve. When brought to the managers attention she became combative, & repeatedly pointed to the picture which still was not as the description listed. The waitress acknowledged it, but management continued to ignore it or apologize stating that they have been doing this for however many years. My dish was remade, still not as the menu stated but how “they” make it without another ingredient per request. The roll was messy due to how “they” make it vs how it’s described. Terrible customer service & recovery & the managers, chef & restaurant need to learn how to read & comprehend their own menu. I understand why they have a 4.0 star rating.
Edit after Restaurant response: You should have apologized while I was at your restaurant & not wait until you have to reply to a negative review to save face in case other potential customers view it. Your waitress repeatedly apologized for your behavior & the terrible experience although you were not receptive to the feedback from me or her. You were not sorry & you were extremely defensive & combative. You only offered the online menu as an option. You never mentioned a physical menu & in fact kept referring & pointing to the online one. There was no physical menu & even if it was, your online & physical menus should match & reflect what the customer is going to actually receive. The roll was still not made as it is described on the menu. The shrimp & crab meat per your menu states it is on the inside of the roll & there is no cucumber. The roll is not easy to eat due to the way “you’” make it. It’s messy. If you want to continue to make the roll how “you” make it, I could care less, just change your menu to reflect this appropriately so customers know what they are getting & know not to order it. I will not be returning. I am clearly not the first customer to complain about your attitude & service & then you come to the review to offer an insincere apology. Read moreMe and my friends go to this restaurant very often , last night however we went and it was the worst restaurant experience we have had. One of my friends ordered cranberry juice and when it came to the table it didn't look right so he tried it and of course it was not cranberry. We informed the waiter and he became very disrespectful and rude. We attempted to ignore him and went ahead and ordered our food. After multiple comments by the waiter I asked to speak to a manager. The female waiter told me the manager was sitting a few tables behind me behind the wall and said she would get her then the disrespectful male waiter came over and asked why i wanted to speak to a manager and i informed him that i simply needed to speak to one. He then became loud and told me the manager was not there and there was no supervisor on duty. The rest of the time we were there the male disrespectful waiter kept making comments about us and pointing at our table. At the end of the night the female waiter told us if we want to speak to the manager come back tomorrow. I have been this restaurant a total of 3 times so that i could possibly speak to the manager and each time the staff has told me to come back and when i come back there still is no manager or supervisor there. How ever there is an Older lady who i am presuming to be the manager because she always walks away when i come in and she is dressed in different clothing. I simply wanted to express my discomfort and what happened so that it won't happen again but i see that that probably won't be possible. I’ve been going here for a while and always enjoyed my food, and never had a problem… me and my sister sat down at their outside seating tonight at around 8 PM when the waitress came out, she explained that we are not allowed service. I asked her why And she explained that other people in my husbands family ( which I do not associate with) had problems at the restaurant, and was rude to the staff, I was like OK I understand that but I eat her all the time and never have a problem that has nothing to do with me, so why am I denied service? She said it doesn’t matter. I can’t serve on you. but to remind you I went there tonight just me and my sister! No one else. So as we are still sitting outside, confused, the manager comes out, she told us that we have to leave because they do not like our people?
