I don’t know got to honestly feel about this place so I’ll start with my order. I got bulgoge fries and it was $13, the image in the menu was a full tray and when I got it it looked like it was a quarter of the tray not at all the size of the picture and when I asked the guy taking my order he said it was a full tray but the manager said it’s not and it’s only 8 ounces. I also ordered wings with fries the wings came first and took another 20 minutes for the fries. I ordered pork belly bao buns and they took the longest to come out the buns were broken and cold.i also ordered the pork belly fried rice and it was overly greasy and had very little meat like 3-5 solid pieces of meat. Over all I spent $65 plus an $3 tip and some change and waited too long for the food like everything was cooked separately and one thing at a time. The food taste good but I would have rather spent that amount eating some where else. I real wanted it to be a great experience but it was not. I’ve heard so many good things and reviews about this place and I had a horrible experience!!!

Bonchon was suggested by a friend for a meetup. This Asian fusion restaurant specializes in Korean fried chicken, and it was an absolute gem! The blend of bold, flavorful dishes and the casual, family-friendly environment made for a fantastic dining experience. The patio seating was a great option for enjoying the fresh air, and to top it off, the restaurant offers karaoke, adding a fun and interactive element for diners. The Soy Garlic fried wings and House Fried Rice were both delicious. The Korean fried chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned, with just the right balance of spice and sweetness. The menu also featured a variety of fusion dishes, from savory rice bowls to creative sides. The atmosphere was casual but comfortable, making it a great spot for families, groups of friends, or anyone looking to enjoy good food and a bit of fun. Overall, this restaurant is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for flavorful, affordable food in a chill setting. We’ll definitely be returning for more Korean fried chicken and a few karaoke tunes!

if you look at the photo the brown on the top right was mushrooms and the brown at the bottom of the bowl was our "correct" meat portion size. nothing was under the egg but rice.... we then expressed to staff that we felt hungry still and didn't agree paying 15 dollars for a rice bowl just to feel underwhelmed. half of the bowl was rice. same thing with the tacos, i had two skinny skimp pieces of bulgogi and the whole taco was filled with lettuce.... we spent about 50$ the staff was very understanding and but when brought to manager, she felt like the portion size was correct and did not feel the need to meet our needs. the worker even offered to try covering for our request of extra meat and manager ALSO denied. save your coins and go somewhere else. i know they just opened but if being cheap while running your business, no thanks! think about your customers if this is the industry you want to be in.

You're better off going to another location in the DFW area.

I’ve visited a few Bonchon restaurants in Texas and the NYC area, especially the one in Addison, TX, which always has great service. When I found out there was one near my work in Arlington, Texas, and I was craving some wings, I decided to visit during my lunch break. I drove about 20 minutes, and when I got there, I was told they were not taking any orders even though they had just opened 20 minutes ago. This seemed suspicious as there were only four customers inside, including me. The person at the front said it would be a 10-15 minute wait, which was no problem for me. However, when three white military men entered a couple of minutes later, she told them it would be 20-30 minutes but didn’t update me about this as I was waiting right in front of her. Then the manager came out and told the men they were busy with a $700 order and that they could come back later, and he would take care of them, offer a sort of discount, and ensure they were satisfied with their order.

As a South Asian woman, I wondered why the manager didn’t inform me about this but instead staff told me to wait to order which I never even got the chance to do. It's crazy that in 2024, that a restaurant caters to white people in their establishment, offering such discounts while I was left waiting. As angry as I was, I left the restaurant and went elsewhere that would accommodate me. I even checked the restaurant’s website and Uber Eats, and they were accepting orders online but couldn’t take orders from people who drove a reasonable distance to visit in-store. I’ve never experienced this at their Addison location, which always has great service and 10x busier from when I visit. I hope the Arlington location improves in accommodating their...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bonchon Korean Fried Chicken in Arlington, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly warm and inviting, making me feel right at home. Their knowledge about the menu was impressive, and they were incredibly patient with me, especially since it was my first time trying Korean fried chicken.

The moment the food arrived at our table, I knew we were in for a treat. Not only did it smell absolutely delicious, but the presentation was so stunning that it seemed to light up the entire room. The wings were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a burst of flavor in every bite. And let's not forget the fried rice - it was so authentic and flavorful, it felt like a taste of Korea in every spoonful.

One thing that stood out to me was that everything is made to order at Bonchon, ensuring that each dish is fresh and tailored to your preferences. This attention to detail truly makes a difference in the quality of the food.

Needless to say, I will definitely be back and I'm already telling all my friends and family about this hidden gem. If you're looking for a charming and personable dining experience with incredible food, look no further...
