Title: Disappointing Service Experience at Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store in Arlington, TX
Introduction: As a devoted food enthusiast, it is disheartening to have a negative dining experience, especially when it comes to customer service. During my recent visit to Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store in Arlington, TX, I encountered significant issues with their service, leaving me disappointed and frustrated. In this review, I will recount the specific incidents that marred my experience, highlighting the lack of attentiveness and professionalism displayed by the staff and manager.
Service Mishap and Managerial Response: My dissatisfaction began when I placed an order for a burger, explicitly requesting no cheese. Unfortunately, my request was disregarded, and the burger was served with cheese. Additionally, the absence of lettuce and tomato further compounded the disappointment. When I approached the manager to address the error, expecting a quick resolution, I was met with argumentation and resistance. Astonishingly, the manager claimed that the burger did not come with lettuce and tomato. However, the signage advertising the burger did not mention anywhere that these ingredients were excluded. Moreover, at no point during my interaction with the cashier was I informed that lettuce and tomato could not be included. Even when I offered to simply receive the lettuce and tomato separately to rectify the mistake myself, the manager adamantly refused, which left me bewildered and dissatisfied.
Disappointment and Future Choices: I cannot help but express my deep disappointment in the overall experience at Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store. The lack of attention to customer requests and the manager's refusal to rectify a clear mistake have left me questioning the commitment to quality and customer satisfaction at this establishment. As a result, I have made the decision not to return to Braum's in the future.
Alternative Options: Given the regrettable experience at Braum's, I would instead recommend considering other renowned establishments that prioritize customer service and quality. Shake Shack and Whataburger, for instance, have consistently demonstrated their commitment to meeting customer expectations and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Conclusion: Regrettably, my visit to Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store in Arlington, TX left much to be desired. The mishandling of my burger order, coupled with the manager's refusal to correct the mistake and engage in productive customer service, tarnished the overall experience. As a food enthusiast who values attentive and professional service, I cannot in good conscience recommend Braum's to others. Instead, I encourage seeking alternative options that prioritize customer satisfaction and consistently deliver on their promises. It is my hope that Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store recognizes the importance of effective customer service and takes the necessary steps to improve their practices...
Read moreThe customer service here was pretty terrible. My sister and I went to order mixes for our family the other night and the guy taking our order sounded very inconvenienced after the second item, asking in an irritated manner "anything else?"
When we received the order, one of the mixes were wrong. We had ordered a chocolate oreo mix and we received a vanilla oreo mix. My sister went inside to inform the staff and ask for the order to be remade. She said that the manager seemed upset and said "I'll just put some chocolate syrup in there" to which my sister informed him that that would not be acceptable. The manager ended up re-making the order, but my sister said that he seemed very put-off by it.
I try to be understanding of customer service employees, because I know that it is not easy dealing with the public, but the staff here were repeatedly and unnecessarily rude. My sister was very patient and made her order in a very friendly manner, so this experience was unnecessarily unprofessional.
Where I know that my individual customer service may not seem to make much of a difference in the grand scheme of your business model, I will not be returning to this location. And I truly do hope that the management and employees at this location can understand that being rude and treating customers as an inconvenience feed into a cycle of negative experiences.
There are people out here that do understand that the job can be difficult and want to make it a better experience by being a decent customer, but it kills customer morale when you treat...
Read moreBraums is famous for quality, fresh milk and dairy products and has a superb mini-grocery and fast food counter. They are struggling, though, with infection control and are not friendly to at-risk customers who need to purchase grocery items without leaving their cars. At their manager's instruction (they say), they will not even sell a single container of milk through the drive-through window. Employees wear a single pair of disposable gloves for extended periods. Or worse, I had a checker who had laid a used/contaminated (e.g., by handling cash) pair of gloves on a ledge in her check stand and thought it would be helpful to put them on when I asked if she would let me scan my own items being purchased. She refused, also attributed to the manager's instruction, to let me scan items' bar codes for myself. They should skip wearing the gloves and simply wash their hands frequently, except maybe in the fast food area where health codes may require the gloves. As it stands the gloves are just health safety theater that actually make risk of infecting customers worse. Hopefully the gloves give the employees a little protection from being infected by customers , but likely the misuse of the gloves increases the risk to the...
