I just visited Desi Adda Kafe, and I must say, my experience was exceptional, even at a late hour. Despite arriving close to closing time, the staff welcomed me warmly, which was a pleasant surprise. Their hospitality truly stood out and made me feel valued as a customer.
While the vegetarian options were limited, they were more than sufficient to satisfy my cravings. The menu looked impressive, and I noticed they even offer a student meal, which I didn’t get to try but found to be a thoughtful addition. I decided to order the paneer biryani, and I was not disappointed. The dish took about 10-15 minutes to prepare, which I believe is a reasonable waiting time, especially given the quality of the food. The paneer biryani was delicious, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection.
One of the highlights of Desi Adda Kafe is its ambiance. Though the place was relatively quiet, it had a unique vibe that I really enjoyed. The cleanliness of the restaurant was impeccable, which is something I greatly appreciate in a dining establishment. The bright lighting added to the pleasant dining experience, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal.
Parking was just okay, not too impressive but manageable. Overall, I found the prices to be reasonable considering the quality of food and service. Desi Adda Kafe is definitely a place I would recommend, especially for late-night cravings. The combination of good food, welcoming staff, and a clean, vibrant environment makes it a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy some authentic...

Taste: Spot on!
Quantity: Appropriate. Not too much not too less.
I tried the following items: Chicken Samosa, Chili chicken frankie, Boneless Chicken Biryani, Masala Chai.
Chicken samosa was good enough, the size felt too small compared to the regular veg samosa and there's only a 10 cents difference so next time I'd rather have regular instead. For Reference check In the image there are 2 samosas.
Chilli Chicken Frankie was AMAZING! It had a good spice and is a good snacking option if you're not too hungry and want to have something tasty. For Reference check in the image the Frankie was cut in half and I took a bite.
Boneless Chicken Biryani was also really good for the taste if we compare to the immediate direct rival which is Spicy Bites. The chicken felt exactly the same as some Koliwada places in Mumbai. I personally felt the chicken to rice ratio was a bit off. Less chicken more rice. If we compare it to the best options in Irving,TX like Bawarchi/Hyderabad house, it will fall short for sure.
Masala Chai was alright, I just felt it had less milk compared to the ones I am used to.
Service is really good. The owner has a charm and is welcoming.
The store has the potential to become the go to place not just for UTA students as the plaza holds Interesting halal options like NY Eats,...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised with this little hole in the wall place. They close at midnight and we were in the area looking for Halal food. We normally go to New York Eats, which is next door. Desi Adda kafe was buzzing with a large group of students, and the whole time were there there was a steady flow of customers (after 10pm). The man behind the counter was friendly and helpful. The food took about 20mins and was really delicious but extremely spicy. Just a warning to those who struggle with spice - their chili chicken is HOT but delicious. The biryani was a good sized portion, enough for 2 people. There were no kid friendly options on the menu, my kid got a chicken pastry puff. The interior was neat and clean. Overall - a good experience and I...
