Dunkin' — Restaurant in Arlington

I visit that store now and then, lines are always long in the morning so I typically go at night. Service is still generally slow... I stopped by at about 850pm, somehow I wished I didn’t when I walked in, just an intuition. There was a couple in front of me, looks like the girl behind the counter is half way through their orders, I said half way coz she rang the register. Then she went on again to prepare something in the back…wait wait wait….she came out with one iced coffee, she asked that couple to pay… wait wait wait … then she went on again to prepare something in the back…wait wait wait….she came out with another iced coffee, asked that couple to pay again, then she’s back in the back again…then eventually she came out with something in a paper bag, asked that guy to pay again! All the whole time I didn’t see that guy talk to her so I’m not certain it’s due to him “adding to his orders”. That took at least a whole 10 minutes, during that time that guy went into the bathroom, came out, his wife went into the bathroom, came out, so you can imagine the delay there.

Had I visited any other place they could use that time to make at least 4 toasted subs on a lazy Monday night! I finally ordered my 2 little pathetic donuts and she couldn’t even get it right, 1 jelly 1 lemon, she gave me 1 jelly at first. Getting a mobile order picked up took 25 minutes. They have no idea how to serve quick customers.

April 28 2024: I am remaining the rating at one star. The lass behind the register didn't know how to order an Iced Mocha, so I asked for a simple coffee. My Everything Bagles had no cream cheese in them.

October 2020:

This place has gone downhill. The people who work the register do not understand the concept of cleanliness. As there was a bug (fruit fly) in my closed coffee cup. It was disgusting. When I asked about it, they refused to remake it. They do not understand English and speak to one another in another language, which makes dealing with them impossible.

Stay away. As only the cash register person wears a mask, the rest of the cooking and prep staff does not.

August 2018:

I complain about health options for most reviews, but this is DD. It is where I get my Happy Brew, aka coffee - large with five creams and sugars.

The little ones grab pink donuts with sprinkles. If you do the survey, you'll get a free donut.

Compared to the DD in Crystal City Shops, this place runs like clock worth and always...

Poor Customer Service!!!!!! I asked for my coffee not to be in styrofoam, when I looked over the lady was putting my coffee in styrofoam cup. I politely asked the lady was that my drink she said yes. I looked back at the cashier and stated I asked for my drink to not be in styrofoam, she raises her voice and says I just told her to put in paper cup! She definitely didn’t, I had to tell the coffee maker to not transfer from styrofoam to paper, please make a new cup. The cashier again says “I told her already why are you so mad.” I understand some people may not care about their health but I do, I made a simple request as a paying customer that got turned into an unnecessary attempt for an argument.
